We totally enjoyed reading your book about the hard work with pictures to make the cottage as lovely as it is now. You put so much work and thought into the renovations. 「For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. Place was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen, we did one load of laundry, nice to go back with clean clothes.」

「The rustic decor in the room was charming. This motel/lodge was part of an animal park. The cages were clean, not spacious, but as adequate as most zoos. The animals were well cared for. Families came with their children. The balcony needed to be power washed. It was dusty. The stairs need another hard rail, and their surfaces were uneven. But the room was immaculate. 」

「We love the staff at this Comfort Suites! From the front desk staff to housekeeping to breakfast management, they are all pleasant, kind and helpful. There were a few glitches: elevator was having issues briefly, but serviced right away, and the AC/Heat & fan unit was a bit loud. That said, the room itself is very soundproof, unlike the more expensive Hampton down the street. Also could use better landscaping around the entrance to the property.
