"My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this hostel. We are in our 60’s and chose this because it is an affordable option right in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town. We had a double bed and ensuite. Clean and comfortable. We could have used the kitchen but didn’t. This would be a safe option for people travelling alone. A bit of outside noise at night, but not too bad. "

"I have only good things to say about this hotel. Check in was easy. The airport shuttle bus dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but we didn't spend much time there except for sleeping and showering. "I love the ApartHotel and will use it again and will recommend enthusiastically. I did have an odor in the room upon check in and they did move me. Also, they weren’t able to provide a paper copy of my receipt, which I would have preferred to recoup the VaT I paid. Hopefully, they emailed me it - but I still need a paper copy.
