Das Ryokan ist beim Tsunami zum großen Teil zerstört worden, doch alle haben gemeinsam angepackt und schon nach kurzer Zeit ist das Hotel neu aufgebaut worden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, die Badebecken sind sehr großzügig besonders das Zedernholzbad mit Blick auf den Ozean ist fantastisch.Das Essen war solch eine Augenweide, liebevoll künstlerisch gestaltet mit 12 verschiedenen Gängen, es ist wirklich jedem zu empfehlen,...

"Amazing view from the room. The hotel is equipped with an elevator which was helpful with my 81 year old mother who cannot walk too well at times. The service staff was pleasant and kind. Dinner and breakfast were very good! The only disappointment was that the check-in at the hotel is after 3 pm, contrary to the description on the hotels.com website."

"The hospitality was amazing, there was a lady who absolutely adored my 2-year-old. She noted that my daughter likes mickey and brought mickey cutlery for her the next day. Food was good, even my picky toddler ate lots. Room was spacious and clean, right next to lake towada. A charming ryokan and I would like to return again some day. "
