This place is definitely a hidden gem we absolutely loved the resort!! We had no issues and it was very easy to find! I loved the beachfront room so convenient.

The beach was ver close to our room, and chairs and umbrellas were there also. The water was fantastic and every local said it was one of the nicest. The food at the bar and restaurant was great.

This property was spectacular. I had an Oceanview room on the second floor and I was literally steps from the beach. The staff was so friendly and the room was very clean. Snorkeling was great right off the beach, I saw a turtle, sting ray, squid and lots of fish. Can't wait to return!

Great hotel, beach front rooms are beautiful and staff is friendly and helpful. You do have to take a taxi everywhere as there are no side walks to walk around and explore the area. Red hook ferry is less than 8mins by car.

For our first time at the island and this property it was perfect. The front desk was very informative upon our arrival about ALL the key cards, keys, and their uses. All the employees with beach towels and water everyday and bartenders were very helpful and friendly as well. Everything was well kept and clean. We LOVED that the beach area was not too crowded like others we had visited during our stay; Sapphire, Meagan’s, Trunk, Mayo…etc. Snorkeling was great as well. The location was also close to other eateries and the car ferry. We didn’t like that we did not have very clear water in the bathroom or sinks but it was explained to us that a diaphragm of some sort in the waterline was leaking and had to be replaced. Our shower also did not drain well. All in all we WILL DEFINITELY be back to this resort.

We took the recommended private taxi from the airport so that we didn't have to wait for transportation. We were greeted warmly and our bags were taken to our room. Our room was beach front with an amazing view. We opted for the one bedroom, king bed, and I was surprised when the bed was actually comfortable, usually hotels are not. The beach was set up with chairs, umbrellas and towels, you didn't have to bring anything, it was all there, and provided with a smile. There was a bar and restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and the food was some of the best I've ever had! Seriously! People from other hotels came to eat there and it's no wonder why. There was a boutique for shopping and a dive shop to rent snorkel or dive equipment - we snorkeled every day. We saw many beautiful fish, stingray, turtles - and the occasional barracuda! It was a 5 minute taxi ride to Mo's, a great fresh market, the ferry to St. Johns, shopping and restaurants - 5 minutes! Bottom line - if you stay here, you won't need to ever leave for anything, it's all right here, beauty, hospitality and amazing food.

After extensive research to find the perfect escape for us I’m so happy I went with Secret Harbour! The accommodations were recently updated and very clean, the staff was helpful with any of our needs. Two fantastic restaurants onsite, one casual and one for fine dining nights! The beach was fairly quiet compared to the others we visited. And the views and sunsets were outstanding! I don’t write many reviews but this place was outstanding! Thank you Secret Harbour Beach Resort!

We had an amazing experience, with a beach front room. The beach was amazing, and the waves weren't rough because the cove is protected from the ocean. There is also a great beach shop next door for all your needs. It overall was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and while it was not perfect, we can wholeheartedly recommend. Pros: - right on the beach with great snorkeling. Probably the best snorkeling we had in US - kids friendly. We had 4 and 6 years old and they didn't want to move out :) - huge rooms with nice decor, sea views and great patio - fully equipped kitchen - extra bed was comfy for kids - Adequate food variety and quality in hotel restaurant (see below). Some food was great (whole grilled snapper), some food was questionable (lobster under mac n cheese) Cons (resort): - sleeping room lacks sound insulation and faces parking lot. Late evening you hear people leaving the public parking lot, starting from 4AM you hear very loud and vocal rooster. Cons (St Thomas): - not walkable at all. Sidewalks are not a thing, roads can be very narrow with a lot of blind spots. 15 minute walk to Red Hook was scenic and extremely scary. - driving is unsafe. Driving is left side, however cars are US made with left side steering wheel as well. Combined with narrow roads (except for the main city) and some very aggressive drivers adds a lot of stress. Wrecked cars are usual sight and we saw at least two car accidents with totaled cars just in 10 days of our stay. - food. $$$ restaurants lack variety, do not offer Caribbean cuisine, often do not cook seafood properly (overdone fish, questionable recipes etc.). We tried different places for 4 days and gave up.

Great place to stay for a family. Rooms were spacious and an easy walk to the beach. If you want a space to cook your own food and enjoy a nice sunset on the balcony this is your place. It’s not near any external restaurants or activities but transportation is available. Beach at the location is great.

Absolutely loved this property. I stayed in the beachside 1 bedroom suite and it was great having the kitchen with plenty of cookware, (blender, teapot, coffee maker and toaster). Property was on a beautiful beach that was secluded and perfect for snorkeling. Really no reason to leave

We stayed in a studio suite which was perfect for what we needed and the view was beautiful. We loved having the full kitchen, suite was clean and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk to the parking, pool and beach. The restaurant was amazing - we ate many meals there. The staff was friendly and hardworking- the property was well kept and clean. The beach experience was stunning and a wonderful first experience for Caribbean waters. Prefer this as opposed to large, overrated resorts by far.

The property was beautiful…beautiful beach with fabulous views. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We chose not to get a rental car with driving on the left side of the road and walking is definitely out of the question. So we needed taxis which they were very helpful in getting for us. As for our room, it showed some wear and tear. Overall though it was comfortable and had a great view of the sunset. We would stay there again if we return to St. Thomas.

Located in a beautiful protected bay with onsite amenities including water activities, fitness center (small), bar and restaurant (great), dive center and more. Very close to offsite restaurants and grocery as well as ferry to St Johns. Many areas on island still suffer from past Hurricanes. Locals are very welcoming and helpful. Weather was perfect entire trip. Left side driving is an experience as are the roads with their eye popping incline/declines and overall poor quality. Infrastructure issues are common but there is beauty everywhere and it is awe inspiring.

Secret Harbor was truly a secret gem on St. Thomas! Exquisite beachfront property on a very beautiful and secluded beach far enough away from too much tourism and traffic if that is what someone is looking for. That was exactly what my husband and I wanted. We wanted somewhere to relax and unwind for four days. All services were above and beyond. Everything from accessibility of the rooms to beachfront, umbrellas and chairs, cleanliness, access to local shops and a wonderful restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Me and my husband loved the property and will definitely be back. Would have liked for the locals or hotel to let us know about the bugs that come out in the evening on the beach though so we could have sprayed bug spray on us versus coming home itchy and figuring it out on the internet.

Very nice oceanfront resort. My wife and I stayed here 2 nights and loved it. Great service and good food. The beach is steps away from your room and we really loved that. A lot of the resorts have nice views but aren't on the ocean front. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and relaxing. The service here is great and the rooms are big and roomy with full kitchens. You won't regret staying here.

Room was nicely updated, beach clean, and the best snorkeling around. Great view as we were in a hill top apartment. Service staff less than helpful and generally poor communication along with unfavorable attitudes. If you didn’t need help you were good to go, otherwise usually a not so good experience with the workers. Red hook area had great service staff.

Really nice boutique hotel. Staying up on the hill, the views were incredible. Large one bedroom suite, nice little kitchen. The steps up the hill are reasonable. Beach bar and adjoining restaurant were excellent and prices were in line for being on an island. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas on the beach with good spacing in between. Mostly older crowd so it’s peaceful. Snorkeling was as good as any we found in the VI. High quality rental equipment on the property for $20/day. Taxi to red hook (main dining area) and ferry to St. John was about 5 minutes. Get the number of your taxi driver so you can text for future pickup requests. Much more efficient. Pro tip: the bar will fill up your water bottles with filtered water. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation with a great beach and fantastic snorkeling, this is a play you may want to consider.

Lovely cove and a nice quiet beach. The people were friendly and the housekeeping staff were excellent! The room was a bit dated and worn but we didn't mind. We did get a room overlooking a trash heap and had trouble finding any convenient outlets in the room. Annoying.

We liked our room, it was clean Kitchen appeared stocked with enough items to cook a meal. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency. We were there only two nights but check in and check out was easy. The Sunset grill breakfast were good. The water isn't so great definitely recommend ordering the bottle water or buy some on your own. We beach is small, comfortable and the water was lovely.
