My opinion.
hospitality up front was good. I'm a bit disappointed cause I've asked twice for extra pillows and they still never came to my room to give them to me. In the past, before Covid, during breakfast, someone would always ask me if I'd like coffee or tea, unfortunately this time, no one did. The towels they have in our room looked like it was from 20 yrs ago. but overall, for the money i paid to stay there, it was 'Ok"

Check in was very efficient, room was on the small side. Temperature control for the AC was through fan speed, could not find a thermostat. The hotel is somewhat dated and in need of a update. Elevators (3 only) are quite small and on weekends make for crowded conditions and long waits. On checkout had to wait 45 minutes for luggage to be brought down to the lobby. Hotel is connected to a mall which is convenient.

This hotel has great quality with value for money. Upon arrival they ensured my family were treated well with a free drink and free afternoon tea. This was welcome after a day of travelling. Within the room there were free snacks ready for us. The room was classy style and clean. Nice to have a bath tub. Breakfast was also great, and included with the room, thank you to the hotel for offering breakfast to our third guest at half price. Thank you for making your guests feel special

Like: The property had all the necessities, although the location was ultra busy and it was centrally located. Did not like: The swimming pool needs some sort of overhead cover (mesh. etc), the sun is directly overhead most of the day and the temperature averages in the 30s degree Celcius year round.

Convenient to go to local shopping mall.room itself is clean enough.but the area near hotel is dirty and loud, so outdoor swiming pool is not enjoyable due to the car sound, air pollution and smell from out of hotel. wifi and Breakfast is good. Service is soso, I asked where I can do money exchange and the front desk guy answered quickly, ' I don't know'...! That is it. I stayed 2nights here and moved to wimarion hotel for another 2nights. wimarion front desk tried to help me to find the answer for my questions and very much helpful. I appreciate. Wimarion is mordern and new, very fast WiFi, well decorated and peaceful swimming pool and clean neighborhood in wimarion hotel. I strongly recommend to go to hotel wimarion than hotel ciputra

It was a huge disappointment. The hotel, the room was so outdated and depressing. The condition of the room was kind of miserable and not very clean so there were things that I didnt even want to touch. It’s hard to believe this is a 4 star hotel.. A few positive things were the location and staff. The location is perfectly convenient and staff were very polite and helpful.

Not great but not many good choices around
There aren’t many good choices in Semarang. After the Crowne Plaza changed hands, it went immediately downhill fast. I am still searching for another go to hotel as I travel here regularly. My room at the Ciputra this time was infested with roaches. Still looking.

Nice hotel, right in the centre of the city. Very close to the mall, which was downstairs. Overall it was a very nice experience staying there.

Overrated Hotel
Over rated in overall. 1 issue about the restaurant for breakfast that insufficient during the peak time (07:30 - 08:30). Facilities for smoker on the restaurant is also disturbing. It might be better if it would be full non-smoking area.

Strategic Location
Strategically located at Simpang Lima and connected to a shopping mall. Easy to find anything...local dishes, books, supermarket, and many more. Staff were very friendly. Rooms, gym were dated and need make over.
