Great experience and my two children loved that it was remote and that there was such an array of animals on the farm. Also easy to get to the local town to eat/shop. "

"We stayed with another 2 couples for a week. The house was very well looked after, clean and well presented. We loved the stunning view from the windows in the sitting room and the lovely garden. There is a well looked after gas bbq which we used as the weather was great. Plenty spaces for parking. The house is located quite high up the hill with quite a steep walk back up from Grandtully which may be difficult if you’re not too fit, so a car drive back up would be easier. Could do with another...

"WE ENJOYED STAYING HERE. IT WAS CONVENIENT TO ALL OF THE CASTLES, GARDENS AND OTHER SITES AROUND STIRLING, UP TO PERTH AND EASTWARD. THE HOUSE IS LOCATED ON THE OWNERS FARM. IT WAS PEACEFUL AND QUIET. IT HAD ALL THE AMENITIES LISTED IN THE SITE. IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX AFTER A BUSY DAY TOURING. WHILE BEING IN A RURAL SETTING, YOU ARE CLOSE TO ROADS TO GET TO ALL THE THINGS THERE ARE TO DO. THE EDINBURGH AIRORT IS ONLY 40 MINUTES AWAY."

"From start to finish our experience was 10/10. Craig, Carol and Eve were exceptional hosts and even though they reside next to the farm house you don't feel uncomfortable or overlooked - highly recommend booking here, you won't be disappointed! Due to staying a week we ran out of logs which wasn't an issue, Craig happily stocked us back up without question. We enjoyed the house, the peacefulness, the views and the wildlife. "Our stay at High Clachan couldnt have been any better and totally met all expectations! The house is stunning, loads of room for all the family and fully equipped. Beautiful views, paths and gardens with the added bonus of a play area near by with trampoline and zipline. Hosts couldnt have been more welcoming or friendly if they tried! Definitely on our list to visit again and would highly recommend! Its worth it for the homemade brownies alone!"

"This house has it all. Beautiful garden with hot tub and bbq hut. Inside the garden room with log burner was a great place to hang out . Only 5 minutes drive to Hawick so we went every day to do walks and pick up groceries. We were able to cook a full Christmas dinner in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed it in spacious dining room."
