"My partner and I spent three nights here for the festival, and it's a clean student accommodation. The good thing is the reception is 24 hours, and the room is clean. Also, it's a walking distance to the most sightseeing spots in Edinburgh. However, the twin bed is difficult for two adults even though I am small. The window is not easy to open, so it's a bit warm in summer. There is no soundproofing in the room, so that you can hear a lot of noise from people slamming the doors all night and...

"First thing that made me go wow was how beautiful the hostel was. The ambient lights were a good touch. My oh my the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hostel. The lockers are very good and easy to use, safe and secure. The staffs were super friendly and were always willing to help me out. It is an amazing hostel suitated in a prime location with quick access to both central station and queens Street rail station. If you're Canadian like me there a Tim Hortons."

"Great location for city. Really terrible cheap mattress, you could feel every spring digging in your back or side. I feel sorry for the students staying at this uni. Everything else was good, but if you want to sleep well, go elsewhere. "

"We were very impressed by our stay here. It was very nice to have access to the kitchen for our dinner and they had a very nicely priced breakfast available for us in the morning, which was extra nice because we needed to leave early. I would say that the location is "kind of" walkable. You definitely can walk to a grocery store and some restaurants, but it was a bit further than would strictly be called convenient. It was a nice walk though! The neighborhood is very nice and there are sidewalks...

"I stayed for 1 night in room no 2 which is located on the ground floor of the main building. This room is disabled friendly with a large ensuite bathroom. Self checkin process was straight forward. Room itself was spacious and clean. The chairs were a bit worn out but understandable for the price. Some noise transmitted from upstairs as people walked on the floorboards but did not bother me. "The accommodation is over priced for what you get. There were hairs and black pubic hair in the bed when I pulled back the duvet - something I wasn’t expecting to see. The bedding is poor quality; the pillows are flat micro fibre, duvet thin micro fibre and the mattress cover is thin almost see through, the mattress is poor quality too. "I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest...
