Downtown San Juan, there is still a lot of renovation going on in the area, due to the hurricane. There are many buildings for lease or for sale. The hotel itself is quiet, clean, and close to restaurants and shopping. Prices are elevated, because the cruise ship docks near by. We stayed in the presidential suite, and if you have a family, it’s the perfect place. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a loft bedroom, but an adult can not stand in it, but it would be great for children. One bathroom with shower and tub. Full dinning area. Small living room with tv, a couple chairs and small love seat. Air conditioning worked great and each room has a remote to adjust as needed. Closet space, but limited hangers. Plenty of towels, shampoo and soap to use. Iron and board, and extra blankets were provided. You will get an entry code for front door and a lock box key by the room. Front desk personnel are quiet and do not interact, unless you engage them. There is a common area with 4 cup coffee pot, coffee, and you will need to pick up creamer or milk to put in the community fridge. You wash all of your own dishes and silverware after use. There is a spot that offers beach towels and sunscreen, and you can help yourself. We enjoyed our stay.
