"This is a hotel opened in 1924. The hotel is full of classic wordwork and charm. Although the building is old, the rooms have been updated and are very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast each morning. Great location in the middle of the downtown Astoria area, with many wonderful shops and restaurants within an easy walking distance. Easy two block to the trolley station for the trolley which runs along the waterfront on the Columbia River."

"No, Wi-Fi. Or when we got it, it was extremely spotty and the TV would not work. Also could not get the jetted tub to work. So these things need to be looked at and taken care of. I would definitely stay here again. It is a beautiful place with a beautiful view! Actually, we have stayed here many times"
