The Plaza - A Fairmont Managed Hotel
5.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1000)
"The Plaza is of course iconic. The building is very old so not everything is spotless. Old curtains get stuck; light interruptors sometimes fail, etc. The staff is not the most friendly - they have some attitude. But if you show the money, you can have the time of your life. Still a great experience. "

Excelsior Hotel
3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1000)
"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. What a huge relief!! Nice to know we do have some decent honest people in this world!! Excelsior is our...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Arthouse. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom, while small, had great storage or functionality. The pastries and coffee from the hotel’s continental breakfast were delicious. The lounge and library were nice spaces to relax. We will definitely look to stay here again on the future. "

The New Yorker A Wyndham Hotel
4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (4446)
"This is probably the second hotel review I’ve ever written, but my recent stay at the New Yorker absolutely warrants it. Two things, in particular, stood out. First, the amazing staff. Besides the hotel’s prime location, the staff make you feel truly welcome. For example, the doorman remembered the name of my service dog. They consistently go out of their way to provide exceptional service with a personal touch. Second, the upgrades. Unlike other hotels that claim to upgrade my room but make...
