"The area around the hotel is perfect if you want to stay away from the more crowded parts of the city, but still within walking distance of lots of great places. Plenty of places to eat and drink with a great local environment. The staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions and needs. The rooms were clean and well attended regularly. The waygu dinner is a must try."

"My stay was wonderful. The hotel had all the amenities needed. The room was cozy and comfortable and located in a great area. No frills, but just what I needed to feel safe and comfortable during my solo trip to Japan. "

"Staff was very helpful and kind. Plenty of food options in walking distance (though I suppose “walking distance” might vary for some folks). The bakery in the lobby is delightful and there’s a convenience store down the street. It was quiet and cozy, if a little busy in the mornings down in the lobby. The park across the street is lovely and (usually) quiet and peaceful in the mornings. In short, I recommend staying here unless you want to be a bit closer to the action of Shinjuku."
