気になった点 : 清潔度、スタッフとサービス
The room and bathroom were not cleaned well, there were stains on the bathroom floor. There was a distinct smell in the room as well, almost like weed/pot in some parts of the room. The lamp shades and curtains were dirty. No room service available. Needed to take an elevator up a floor, then another set of stairs to get to our room (inconvenient). No room service available. In order to use pool facilities, one must go to front desk, get a code, then walk OUTSIDE to then access the pool. Layout is not great.
The last thing: when we left the room to be serviced for the day, we returned to find our door had not been closed and locked properly. We had a concern for our valuables.
Positives include a modern standalone shower with rainhead, a beautiful ocean view, access to plugs for charging electronics, and renovated furnishings.
In summary, it is an old hotel, that has been revamped to appear more modern and compete with newer, more commercial competitors. However, it falls short due to the lack of cleanliness, safety and policies of the hotel. The renovations do not extend to the remainder of the hotel to provide cohesiveness throughout the property and fails to provide the premium experience it advertises.
