"Awesome Onsen. Quick check in. The two open air mineral baths were clean, comfortable and relaxing. The one with the huge lava rocks, natural greenery and small waterfall on the 5th floor was my favorite. On the 11th floor the afternoon and evening it was gently raining and sitting in the Onsen with rain coming down made me feel one with the rain and hot water. "We stayed here for one night… just as something different, as we both have never stayed in a Ryokan before. The Satoyama suite was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. You could tell that it was recently renovated/brand new. It also offered a perfect view of Lake Biwa and the surrounding Otsu area. The open air bath and shower was also a nice touch. "決して新しいホテルではないが安心して泊まれる。部屋はセミダブルで広めだがソファーベッドがあるため若干動きづらいが支障はない。コスパは良好。２階に風呂とサウナがある。朝食は宿泊費を考えれば若干豪華すぎる。種類は多くはないが満足できた。夕食は徒歩５分以内に結構あった。"
