Second time staying here. Lovely reception area. Friendly staff. Large bedroom with lovely view over the river. Good sized bathroom with plenty of toiletries provided. However bathroom was a bit dated and worn looking in places. The grab bar in the bath was corroded and didn’t look the best. Good choice available for breakfast. Bar menu in the evening was very disappointing. I ordered a toasted sandwich with turkey - it consisted of a toasted bap with about four slices of shiny processed turkey beside it. Did not look very attractive and certainly not what was expected from a four star hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again as the location and ambience are very good.

Very clean, but room walls very thin and with a family next door it was very noisy. This ruined our stay somewhat as we were woken by crying and the noise of child's tantrum. Food very good, if not a little over priced. Swimming pool was a welcome facility. Tea making facilities in room would be expected in four star hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Lay out of hotel in general was a little confused, more signage for pool etc would be helpful.

Värt ett besök

Överlag en bra vistelse,helt magisk utsikt och ett lugnt område.Rummet är stort med balkong mot Guardiana.Maten är bra men inte det bästa vi ätit.Frukosten hade vi väntat oss lite mer av för dom pengarna.Olyckligt att personalen i restaurang och bar pratar dålig engelska.AC.n på rummet lät mest hela tiden men gav ingen direkt effekt.Öppnade balkongdörren på natten för lite mer svalka.

Avloppslukt på rummet

Andra gången vi bodde på hotellet, hamnade på bottenvåningen denna gång, luktade avlopp på rummet väldigt tråkigt. Beställde två glas sangria i baren vid ankomst det gick inte vilket det gjorde förra gången, men hallå bara ordna det om gästen vill ha det!! annars ett trevligt hotell med fin utsikt.

Remanso de tranquilidad.

Parador muy bien situado y con excelente servicio personal. Las vistas fantásticas hacia el Guadiana y Portugal, así como las puestas de sol contemplándolas desde la terraza de la habitación. Magníficas playas y entorno natural. Para volver.

Excelentes vistas sobre el Guadiana. Piscina muy agradable con vistas. Habitaciones amplias con balcón. Están algo anticuadas. Hotel ideal para ir a relajarse.

Buena ubicación, pero caro y anticuado

Aunque se encuentra ubicado en una colina de vistas espectaculares, los dormitorios son feos y las camas son incómodas. La máquina cortacesped a las 8am tampoco fue de mi agrado. El desayuno caro y nada especial (zumo de naranja artificial, por ejemplo).

Ayamonte Parador visit .

I stayed at the Parador in Ayamonte for the second time in order to do some work in the town . It was mainly wet and windy which , being exposed on the hill overlooking the town , resulted in a lot of wind noise throughout the nights . The room was comfortable , the breakfast very good apart from the various supposedly hot egg choices all being cold even though I was first in the breakfast room when it opened . Fresh fruit choices were good as was the coffee brought to order by the waitress . The lounge area is spacious and comfortable and there is a separate tv lounge which is very thoughtful as not everyone wanted to watch football every night . Parking is at the front door and there is plenty of room . The staff were very helpful when I had a couple of enquiries to make . Views from the rooms are fantastic but it was too noisy to open the shutters on this trip . Overall it was a good experience .

Een aanrader

Op doorreis.naar Portugal verbleven we 3 nachten in de Parador Ayamonte. Het was een absolute meevaller We hadden een grote kamer met salon en prachtig zicht op de rivier. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Eten is verzorgd met klasse bediening. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid...keuze enorm! Zeer rustige ligging.

Really excellent hotel with amazing views

Solidly excellent - amazing views, great pool, the best breakfast and lovely beds. Having a balcony with views was a treat. Interesting little town off the tourist trail.

Beautiful Hotel

This hotel allows you to relax and enjoy nature. It is situated on a hill and you overlook the huge River Guadiana. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful. The rooms and facilities are nice and tastefully furnished. Some renovations would not hurt.

Great room etc.Superb layout and a lot of refurbishment since my last visit 20 years ago. Food was good but not great. Breakfast was varied choices to suit all. The staff for dining were very helpful and kind.
