I was not happy with paying for parking at a hotel that was not in a city such as DC. The toilet ran all night long. When I took a shower the drain was clogged so my feet were grossly covered with bacteria. They had two water bottles in the room that clearly indicated you would be charged $2.50 if drank one. I paid $230 for one night and they offered nothing but a free cookie.

Arrived 4 hours early. Room was ready. Would not let me check in at that time without paying $25. Other hotels will do it gratis if the room is ready, especially if you are a member. Instead I drive around. Found a place for lunch outside the hotel. Had I checked in easily, I would have eaten at the hotel. Asked for room cleaning the next day. Came back at 10:30 PM, no room cleaning. Plenty of hotels around. Will not stay here again

Hotel was old and in need of renovations. Sleeper/Sofa cushion in the living area was severely stained - other side was worse. The staff, however, was very friendly and welcoming.

The rooms need renovation our room was at the end of the building and the door to the back parking lot was always left open. We went out one day and when we return out door to our room was left open with the dead bolt.

Convenient location. Rooms in poor condition and double bed rooms were small. Hotel nickel and dimed us. $5 cup of coffee in am. Charged us $10 a night for parking without notifying us. Hotel was 2 put of 5 stars at best.

Paying for parking on top of booking a room is ridiculous. Not including breakfast is also crazy considering I am paying $208 a night.

The staff was rude at times and other hotels in the same area have better amenities and breakfast included. Also, they charge for a pack-and-play (or what they call a crib) per night while other hotels in the same area don’t.

We were not treated well, or properly greeted, at the front desk. Then, to top it off, when we tried ordering room service, it took 1 1/2 hours to get it. My wife went down to retrieve the food, and the manager said he would make sure it was the first meal to come out of the kitchen. 20 minutes later, she received the food, without an apology, and without any discounts. We are Hilton honors members, as well. And, we prefer to stay at Doubletree when possible. But, unless this property reaches out to apologize and rectify this situation, we’ll stay someplace else when we take a trip to Williamsburg.

We were only one of a few families staying here during February break. The hotel is huge! We used the indoor pool, gym and on-site breakfast. We were asked to move rooms after the first night, but the staff was accommodating. Super close to Busch Gardens too!

We loved staying at the double tree minus the fact that our shower curtain was torn and janky. I would expect more from a doubletree.

The room was fine. When I tried to add a night to our reservation, the front desk person refused to help me and told me to do it online. The onsite restaurant wasn't open, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Overall, it was a disappointing experience in terms of service and amenities.

Great Stay During Work Week
The property is large with some great amenities like multiple restaurants, great bar with amazing list of local brews, indoor/outdoor heated pool, and spacious rooms. The staff was wonderful and the food from the restaurants was delicious. Would stay again for business or vacation.

The front staff was wonderful. We arrived at our room and found out our refrigerator didn’t worked. Tried to call the front desk but the phone didnt work. The refrigerator was replaced. Woke up to get item out of the fridge and everything was frozen. The room was dark with limited lights to brighten the dark areas.

When we picked the hotel, was definitely because we were looking for a cheap price. The hotel is not a high end but not on the low side either. We just wanted to spend one night to rest our bodies in a clean place. The front desk person was very pleasant, we reinforced that we just needed a clean room. To make it shot, the room had a horrible musty smell, stains all over the carpet, dust behind the doors. The bed sheets seemed to be clean but the smell gave me a bad allergy/sinus attack. It amazes me how reviews can be deceiving.

Stayed for 4 nights in a suite. The furniture had stains and the comforter was dirty. We requested maid service one morning right before heading out for a few hours. They hadn’t come by the time we got back and showed up later when we were in the room. They were so irritated when we asked if they could come back, I called the front desk and canceled the request because I didn’t want a disgruntled person coming in our room. On the other hand, the pool was great for our 4 year old, the gym was nice, and the rates were decent.
