"The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. The pool was awesome, as was the arcade room for our younger members of the group! "

"We think Thaddeus Stevens himself would have loved this log house. We certainly did during our 3 day stay. Cozy and well decorated. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Close to downtown and just steps away to a local grocery. The owner, Sarah, is truly exceptional! Helped us in so many ways including making sure our kitchen skillet was returned to us after we accidentally left it in a cupboard. Hats off to Sarah, and a great little getaway!"

"We had previously visited Frederick last November and had only been able to spend a little bit of our visit in Historic Frederick. We loved staying in historic Frederick and the property was unique, very clean and well laid out. I should have realized was that 'penthouse' in a historic home would mean steps. "This was such a great place for our family to crash. There is a foosball table, ping pong table and my kids LOVED staying in the great room of pull out beds. There are 2 cozy bedrooms and a great fun room. My kids wished we had had more time to be there to explore the property and play. It is so well equipped with everything for large groups. We are a family of 8, and listings often say they accommodate 8, but are actually lacking in linens and dishes. This space had plenty of everything!"

"A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron"

"We had a lovely stay at the Yellow Ski Lodge - easy 5 minute drive over to Liberty and a very comfortable property. My one complaint with Liberty is that their accommodations are limited. This property offered close access with some space and farm fresh eggs! Great stay, thank you!"
