一人旅で3泊しました。ヴィラ自体に古さはあるものの、ベットはとても清潔で木の温かさがあり安心感がありました。何といっても目前に田園が広がっているのでとても静かで鶏の鳴き声がよく聞こえました。人里離れた場所でゆっくりのんびり癒されたい方には最高のロケーションだと思います。スタッフの方々も皆さんとても親切でした。レストランの食事もおいしかったです。

Beautiful, warm villa beloved by staff, neighbors
まずヴィラ到着後に眼前に広がる美しい田園の風景に圧倒され、心を癒されます。庭も周囲の自然も、スタッフの方々だけでなく、周囲に暮らす人々から大切にされて美しく守られてきたものだと感じます。庭から農夫の方々、放し飼いの鶏や鴨等が行き来するのどかな風景を眺められます。プールも美しく手入れされ、お料理もとても美味しく、クッキングスクールもぜひ次回に参加してスペシャリティを習得したいです。五つ星等の洗練され過ぎた(価格も高すぎる）ホテルよりもこちらが私は寛げます。随所にフレキシブルな宿泊者本位の温かなサービスを受けられます。スパは人生最良に良かったです。心の籠もった技術は素晴らしく、アユン川の傍で自然の音を聞きながら、自然と自分の体が一体になったような気持ちがして、安らぎと元気を得たのと同時に、ここで死んで良いと思ったほどでした。シャトルバスの運転手さんも親切でまるでプライベートドライバーのようでした。ベテランスタッフの方も多いようで落ち着きがあります。夜は満点の星空！夜から朝は自然の大合唱。あまり長く滞在できない身ですが、次回は3泊したいほどです。

優雅な滞在
もーそれはそれは大満足です。 部屋、サービス、景色、食事… スパもアユン川のほとりで水音を聞きながら。。 市街地からはだいぶ離れていますが、無料のシャトルバスもあるし。タクシーもどうせ安いし。 次回のバリ島旅行はここでの滞在のみでもいいなと思えました。 しばらく思い出に浸ります。。笑

小さなラグジュアリーヴィラリゾートです！
郊外にある小さなヴィラリゾートです。レセプションがない代わりに、全てのリクエストはヴィラから電話で伝えますが、スタッフは皆笑顔で迅速に対応してくれます。とてもこじんまりとしていますが、アユン川を望む立地は自然に囲まれとても快適でした。毎日アフタヌーンティーサービスがあり、リクエストした場所にサーブしてくれます。川沿いのガゼボとベッドは最高の寛ぎスペースなのでオススメです！レストランで夜ゴハンも頂きましたが、リゾートで栽培しているオーガニックハーブ、野菜ととても新鮮で優しいお味でした。カクテルやメニューも、リクエストすればアレンジしてくれるので、是非どんどんリクエストして自分だけの楽しみ方を見つけて下さい！帰りにはお土産も頂きました！スパもアユン川を望む場所にあり、$45くらいからメニューがあります。リゾートの周りには何も無いので、外出には1時間に1本あるシャトルバスサービスを利用します。立地は不便ですが、それに勝るホスピタリティを感じる事ができる素敵なリゾートです。

ガーデンプールヴィラに3泊しました。HPの写真で見るより、プライベートプールは広かったです！ウブドの街中はざわざわしていますが、このホテル周辺は別世界です。また、食事もおいしいのですが、夕食のメニュー種類が少ないのが唯一の欠点かな．．．

Un des meilleurs hotels que j'ai fait. En pleine nature vu sur les rizières . Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant. Nous avions une chambre avec piscine privative, un peu loin du centre cependant. Rien à dire sur cette hotel à part que tout était parfait.

One bedroom call villa was stunning, beautiful out, book over rice paddies and the bush. Food was fantastic. Staff were fantastic. Infinity pool fantastic. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at that sort of price.

We loved the serenity of Villa Semana, the privacy and location allow for a real luxury getaway while still being close to Ubud and surrounds. The staff were fantastic and the restaurant food and service 5 star. The amenities and grounds are very well presented. This would be an excellent venue for a larger gathering such as a wedding celebration. As a honeymoon/romantic/relaxation Villa Semana is perfect. We loved it!

The worst hotel we ever stayed at
This is the worst hotel we ever stayed at. For a starter they do not have a manned reception but we were told that we could call them 24/7, and we could but when calling in the morning for breakfast we had to try to reach them for more than 30 minutes the same happened when trying to call during the evening. Second when you take a shower it is outside with view over rice fields, and a walk path which means very often people are standing just outside so you have no privacy when showering. Third it looks very romantic with a Villa in the “jungle” but please be aware there are a lot of reptiles and other animals outside which is okay, but the rooms has huge air gaps everywhere so the reptiles can enter your room. Over the bed there is luckily a mosquito net. One night suddenly a 30cm long gekko jumped down on the net just above our heads runs and jumps to the wall and out. After that for me as European it is very hard to fall asleep again. Also be aware the hotel is located a bit remotely from other restaurants and etc. but you can order food at the hotel. First day we ordered lunch it took more than 1hour before we got the food and only one other couple was at the hotel at this time, and sorry to say, it was the worst meal we had in Bali, but on the other hand, it was also very expensive compared to Indonesia. And last but not least the Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms.

We deeply regret your unpleasant experience during your stay with us .We fully understand your discomfort and wish to seek your understanding. Even though our hotel grounds are fumigated regularly and all villas treated by a mosquito coil every evening, we have greatly reduced but cannot completely eradicate the geckos, insects and other small animals move freely in the natural tropical surroundings, particularly due to our proximity to the jungle and padi fields. Moving forward we have put in place protocols for our staff to deal with any insect by promptly removing them from your premises followed by a fumigation at the earliest possible time, and if needed provide an alternative villa for your comfort and assurance throughout your stay.We have noted your comments regarding the outdoor showers. As Villa Semana is surrounded by villages and working padi fields, farmers going about their daily lives are part and parcel of our landscape and are an authentic display of life in Bali. Although they may move around close to the perimeter of the hotel, please be assured that they will respect your privacy and not cause any discomfort during outdoor shower use. Alternatively, our guests can use the indoor shower in Bathtub.We acknowledge the lapse of service during your stay and sincerely apologize. Your experience with us is in no way reflective of the high standards have set for ourselves. The Covid-19 pandemic has devastated much of Balinese tourism, and although we have endeavored to retain our service standards through rigorous re-training as our staff return from a long period of hotel inactivity, it is evident that there are gaps resulting in a less than perfect guest experience which we truly regret. With the global economic recovery and gradual return to normality, we have fortunately resumed normal operations and staffing, and look forward to providing you with the exceptional Villa Semana experience that many guests come back for time and again.Once again, thank you for choosing Villa Semana and we hope to welcoming you again at Villa Semana. The natural beauty was everywhere. It was quite noisy for a secluded resort. But I think that may have just been the luck of the draw. I don’t expect that there will be temple ceremonies with loud music until late at night often. It just so happened to be when we were there. Thank you so much for your kindness and beautiful setting.

Villa was beautiful and it was great to have a large pool as well as the private villa pool. The view of the rice field as you come in to the resort is breathtaking. The restaurant was disappointing as the food wasn’t up to the standard of the hotel which was a shame. The hotel is quite isolated which is lovely for peace and quiet but the shuttle isn’t very frequent which makes getting around a pain. Would be great if they increased the number of shuttles a day or did it on a bookable basis as many of the other hotels seem to do. The trips they are offer are quite expensive so would recommend looking on Trip Advisor for those instead. Also everything seems to be priced in US dollars.

The property is really well maintained you cannot fault the staff excellent. my only concern was that it was harvesting time for the rice and there were workers stationed a couple of metres from our pool for most of the day, the shower is outside so this was not so private for us which was a concern. They should have let s know at time of booking .

Superb place! The pictures don’t do it justice. If you have a spa treatment that involves a bath, your tub is facing the river on one side and a small waterfall on the other. It was the most beautiful setting I’ve ever seen. The staff were all so friendly and polite. Meant to be a quiet/relaxing spot. Not much to do on the resort, but Ubud is a short drive away.

Perfect villa
Highly recommend someone who would like to have a get-away trip. This villa is very private and the most frequent mate you might bump into is a brood of chickens, all with beautiful feathers. The villa is just next to a river, you might heard someone rafting but it is just a few seconds. The view is amazing, all the staff are friendly and willing to help. The massage is the best I've ever had, just next to the river so you can hear the sound of river and nature sound. The only thing need to improve is the toothpaste, we used 4 toothpaste, but those are totally hard as a rock. Totally can't be used.

Peaceful villa in the rice terraces of Ubub
I stayed here mainly to be out of the busy city of Ubud and be in the beautiful, quiet rice terraces. The grounds are so peaceful and well-maintained. I didnt see any guests for my first two days here! It's so serene and everyone that stays there seems to keep to themselves. The made to order breakfasts by the pool are delicious. The staff is all so lovely and the free shuttle to the city was so convenient! I would note you are staying in nature, so geckos, lizards and chickens are the norm!

It was a great experience staying at Villa Semana. I really enjoyed the infinity pool with a beatiful river & forest view and excellent spa service. All the staff members were kind and welcoming. Everytime we had spent some hours outside the hotel, the room was made up perfectly (even a mini pool was cleaned) and some fresh snacks were on the table. I really want to recommend Villa Semana to the others who want to stay in Ubud. If you stay at Villa Semana, please enjoy the spa service there...! You can take it right beside Ayung river hearing river flows and birds singing !

Gorgeous location, outstanding staff and service
Amazing experience from beginning to end. This property is more beautiful in reality than the photos. Tranquility, beauty and great view of a gorgeous rice field, meditation space, spa by the Ayun river. They call it courtesy shuttle, but it was more a “private driver” into center of Ubud. Will come back again and again and stay longer

Tout parfait !!!
Hotel avec plusieurs villas privées (le top celles avec piscine privée) avec décor magnifique, zen, jardins, rivière avec spa au bord pour les massages, au bord de très belles rizières pour une magnifique ballade authentique (rien à voir avec la touristique Tegalaland), restaurant plus que très bon, service incroyable, bref le rêve. Quelle belle surprise!!!!

Dépaysement total au coeur de Bali
Belle expérience dans cet hôtel rempli de sérénité. Un peu excentré d'Ubud mais le dépaysement n'en est que meilleur. Une navette gratuite permet néanmoins de rejoindre le centre. Mention spéciale à la magnifique piscine à débordement surplombant la jungle.
