部屋に入るなり、蜘蛛が部屋の中にいて驚きました。フロントに電話して処理してもらいましたが、すみませんもなく部屋を変えてくださいと言ったら空きがないので無理です…と、言われました。部屋が4階の一番端だったので花火もろくに見えず残念でした。残念なホテルでした。温泉は良かったのですが、また行こうとは思いません。

温泉でのマナーにガッカリ
フロントも朝食スタッフも皆さん親切でした、ただ、夜温泉に地元の人か従業員かわからないが、湯船に入っている間もシャワー場所に私物を置きっ放しにされて使えず困った

すこし中心地から離れていますね。 学生時代の夏合宿を思い出させる建物のつくりでした。 ゆったりとリゾートを望む方には不向きかもです。 僕達は満足でした！

It’s hard to leave a negative review as the staff were all so friendly and helpful. “You get used to the smell” was our motto as you do slowly go nose blind to the overwhelming smell of stale old cigarettes. (You are still allowed to smoke in your room here) We may also all have splinal damage from sleeping on the floor in the “Japanese style beds” This whole town has a bit of a post apocalyptic feel when we visited in the winter as it’s quite run down. If you’re on a budget though it’s a good option if you have a car and don’t want to pay the crazy lodging prices at the nearby resorts.

Comfortable stay
Stayed at the 4-pax tatami room for a night. View from the room was fantastic and the tatamis/yukatas provided were comfortable. Dinner was good except that we thought it would be in-room dining - the meals are served at the lobby restaurant. Onsen was ok, they have an open-air bath with the indoor one. The nightly fireworks is visible from the room, but as it moves westward it goes out of sight pretty quickly. Best to just head down for a nicer view.

Location was pretty far from the town, further than it appeared and you would expected from map. If you adopt public transportation and walking in winter, good luck… The hotel itself in general was very dated(not in a charming way). Staff cold and rigid minded, did not feel welcomed at all. Communication in English was near impossible. Onsen from vocano was very hot which I preferred, but the facilities were way too old and outdoor bath and sunna would close at 10pm which was quite early comparing to other onsen hotels. Lights in the hall way and staircases were completed turned off after 10 or 11pm… I know conservation is a virtue, but at a hotel, seriously? If the price was half as tagged I probably would consider give a 3 star, but for what it costed, it was far from acceptable…

도야호를 여유롭게 즐기기에 아주 좋은 곳입니다. 노천탕이 좀 좁긴하지만 세월의 흔적을 느낄 수 있고 푸른 하늘을 보며 즐기기엔 좋아요.

Lake toya view, dated hotel.
Hotel is old and dated but the lake view compensated for it. Onsen is old has natural spring water but is murky. Check the timing of the fireworks at the promenade.

Good view, Lake side, cheap price
Very good choice if you have limited budget. Price is more affordable comparing to other hotels Dinner is delicious. There is free bicycle for guests but only 2 bikes available. Staff rarely speak English but they are helpful. Necessary details are provided in English. That s not a big problem. Try to avoid smoking room if you are sensitive to smoking smell. It's too smelly. (There is no non smoking choice for me at that time)

Wonderful view of Lake Toya
We drove a rented car around Hokkaido, and like most regions outside Sapporo, there are ample free parking lots right in front of Toyako Onsen Hokkai Hotel. The hotel is a little old, but it has a lift serving all floors. The room and toilet were clean, and we had an awesome view facing into Lake Toya. Between the hotel and the lake was a long pavement when we saw many locals take a stroll or jog. The futons were already prepared when we checked in. We experienced the fireworks happening right at Lake Toya by our windows. We were told it took place every night during this period.

아주 만족스러웠어요. 그렇게 저렴한 호텔은 아니었지만.충분히 그만큼의 돈을 디불할만했어요. 노천온천도 있구요. 아침에는 탁트인 도야호를 볼수있어요. 유카타를 입고 아침에 도야호를 산책하는건 아주 좋은 경험이 될겁니다
