Nice hotel friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The hotel is quiet and away from the busy life of Toronto down town. Still near and easily reachable either by street car that has stop 2 blocks away or the hotel drop off service to down town which is very nice . Is a nice place if you enjoy walking and running along the lake side. They have a beautiful pool but it was a bit chilly up there so no one was in. Hopefully I can return in the summer.

I discovered the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, with exceptionally polite and welcoming staff. The rooftop view was superb, and the stunning lake view from the room made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Booked here to celebrate our anniversary. Check-in staff was a bit "checked out" — no information about the hotel or its amenities, we spent an hour walking around the building only to discover lots of areas were closed because of a private event that night. Hotel staff recommended grabbing a coffee at a cafe on the 2nd floor that was closed…finally we found ourselves at Roses…completely empty yet staff was inattentive…took 20 min for a coffee to arrive.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Overall my stay was good. But the one lacking area if you are a Foodie, I do not recommend the restaurant there. The service was terrible, had to chase down my server for dinner several times, where I had to get up out of my seat to find them. I was hoping when we went back for breakfast we had a different server, which we did but the experience was the exact same. They brought coffee with no milk and sugar, did not check up on us after the food was brought when we needed an extra plate for our child. The restaurant wasn’t busy, times like this you can take advantage and give the best service. We told the manager but he seemed very inexperienced on how to handle bad service. Just wasn’t good. For what you pay it’s not worth it. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry 10 years, and it’s not hard to serve a table. All you have to do is smile and check in on your guests. Something as simple as that could not be done. We wanted to go for Mother’s Day but after that experience I will not be going back again.

I have stayed at HotelX on a few occasions and they deliver everytime. Whether it’s the vibe and location for Caribana or the exceptional when convenience attending business events at the Enercare centre, HotelX is definitely my top T.O. Hotel pick. Their desk and bell staff are excellent and this most recent time I’m giving them 5* for helping me to manage my food allergies safely - thank you for the extra accommodation and attention! Absolutely beautiful hotel. Room service was exceptional for plant-based/vegan choices!!! Would stay agsin just for that because it was so good!! We enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff was very helpful. In the winter, the hotel is a bit far away from restaurants and activities. Also, there is no main level bar.
