I recently stayed at this hotel with my family of 3 for 4 nights. After a long flight, we were looking forward to resting, but upon check-in, we found our room was not fully prepared. Despite having booked for 3 people and specifically requesting an extra bed in advance, the additional bed was missing. We also encountered issues with the room amenities. Essential items like toothbrushes and slippers were not provided. Throughout our stay, housekeeping consistently overlooked replacing items; for instance, our used toothbrushes were discarded without leaving replacements. By the end of our stay, we had no towels in our room, which compounded our frustration due to the apparent lack of professionalism. We had to call hotel service every night to request toothbrushes and towels. The persistence of these issues over several nights should have highlighted a clear lack of attention to detail. I had hoped to see improvements during our stay, but, regrettably, this did not occur.

宿泊期間中に誕生日でした。部屋へ戻るとバースデーカードとケーキが置いてあり嬉しかったです。 浴槽の排水の流れが悪かったのとタオルがごわごわの点を除いてあとは快適に過ごせました。 近くにコインランドリーもあるし、バス停、MRTの駅も遠くないので困らないです。

掃除あとのベッドシーツに長い髪の毛がついていたことがよくなかった。また、3泊したが掃除後毎回ハンドタオルがおかれていなかった。朝食はとてもよかった。マレー系のコンシェルジュの方が親切で、日本語勉強しているが漢字がむずかしいとのこと、熱心で向学心があるのに感心した。

It was good hospitality. The room I stayed in was on the 8th floor and didn't have a balcony, but there were windows that opened below knee level, so I was worried because I had small children.

思った以上に便利
サマセット駅の近くで、雨が降っていても道路さえ渡れば濡れずに駅からホテルまで辿り着けます。サマセットは、３路線が乗り入れているドビーゴートからひと駅なので、オーチャード駅付近のホテルより利便性が高いように思いました。近くにドンキのスーパーやセブンイレブンがあるので便利。また高速道路に近いので、空港からの距離が意外に短いと感じました。 浴室にバスタブがあるのも個人的には好みです。

防音に問題がある
サマセット駅から徒歩5分、周辺にコンビニやレストランもたくさんあり立地は良いです。部屋も清潔です。しかし、防音に問題があると思いました。上の部屋のトイレを流す音、クローゼットやトイレのドアを開ける音が聞こえます。また、上の部屋で水を使用すると配管の中で水が落ちる音が聞こえて、夜は何度か目が覚めました。私の部屋は裏の路地に面していたので、夜中に若者が騒いだり、早朝のゴミ回収のトラックの音などが気になりました。また、部屋の掃除の時間を指定してお願いしていたのに、実行されたのは1回だけで、その時は部屋に置いていたフルーツが捨てられたのか無くなっていました。それ以外は自分が部屋に滞在している夕方5時ごろに毎日英語の話せないスタッフの人が掃除に来ました。

年末年始に2部屋、バスタブ付きを予約しましたが、1部屋のみバスタブ付き、隣の部屋はシャワーのみで、残念だった(予約時の対応は良かったけど)。 朝食は、インド系の食事がメインである。 洋食もあるが、はっきり言ってまずい。 日系のホテルと私は勘違いしてました。 年末年始は優雅に暮らそうと思いましたが、当てが外れましたね。 子連れ、家族に良いとのウワサでしたが、オーチャードに行く際のみちは、段差が2階あり、ベビーカーでは 大変である。 入り口は、今時自動ドアではないので、 自分で開けないといけない時があり、ベビーカーを押しながらドアを開けることになります。 そんだけベルボーイの教育も、日系ホテルではないと言うことですね。

MRTのSomerset駅から近く、交通の便が良い。近くに7-Elevenや日本食やフードコート、ショッピングセンター、両替もあり、便利な立地。 朝食ビュッフェは、日本食がなかったが、客層に日本人が少ないことを考えれば当然かと。設備は新しくないが、清掃は行き届いており、快適でした。

快適なホテルでした
Holiday Inn Expressクラスを利用することが多いのですが、時季的なせいか今回の滞在はあまり値段が変わらなかったのでこちらのホテルを利用してみました。 やはりExpressクラスよりも全てにおいて上質でした。築年数はそれなりのホテルだと思いますが、古さも特に感じず高級感がありました。 又、Hotels.com経由で予約したにもかかわらず、IHGメンバー特典を利用させてくれました（駄目なホテルが多いんですが…）。 強いて言えば、立地的に渋滞が激しいので呼んだタクシーがなかなか来なかったり、やっと来たタクシーに乗ってもなかなか大通りに出られない時間帯がありました。
