Fit our needs
Sufficient for short stays. Neighborhood looks a little rough, but had no issues with anything or anyone. Water was hot, the towels and showers were clean. That’s all we needed. 15-20 minutes to airport. Well worth the price. The host was easily accessible if I had any questions.

Cancellation
We were impressed with the apartment when we went to visit on the first day, however since my daughter was 33 weeks pregnant at the time she could not make it up and down the older steep stairs very easily. We were not able to stay even for one night, but were given a 50% refund minus the fees even though we could not cancel until after our first booking day. The host was very understanding of our circumstances.

Heat inside the house
Older widely-spaced house with no residual heat at least at 65 degrees to help the small individual heaters heat the rooms. No heat in bathroom at all. Had to move one in there. Need hand rail going down the old steep steps. I am older and balancing not to fall daily was a chore. My room ONLY ONE OUTLET WORKED...BEHIND THE BED. Otherwise, appreciate it being so close to Harborview Hospital to visit my son. Thank you. J. McLean

seattle vacation
first time here to see the sights. really enjoyed Pike place and space needle area. the glass museum is a great stop. convenient to all downtown areas. the lock and fish ladder are interesting as well. we had a good time. today we are off to see underground Seattle

Immerse yourself into the local community
Good location and really felt part of the local community. Accommodation is in an old house which has been divided into four separate units. Ours was a two bedroom unit on the second floor. The unit is very spacious and quite well provisioned. We were concerned about street parking but whenever we needed it we managed to find a spot overnight outside the front:-). Would benefit with a washer dryer. But otherwise all good at an affordable price.

Lots of space
The unit is in an older house with character. Our group of four had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped. There are a few things that could make the unit better. The futon needs linens for the pillows and duvet. The bedrooms were fine. One of the bedrooms had no mirror for getting ready, Overall we really enjoyed it. I would consider staying again if I had a large group. Thank you.

Pre-cruise stay
Wanted to spend a couple of days in Seattle to sightsee before getting on a cruise ship. We either walked, took Lyft , or bus to all destinations. Walking could be challenging for some due to the very steep hills. However, the accommodations were very pleasant and the owner was very reachable. Beware, there is a hospital just down the street and the front bedroom does hear the noise from ambulance sirens. Also, when the owner states parking is a challenge, they are serious. It's a good thing we did not have a car to worry about this.

Ok place for a Seattle stay
We stayed for the weekend for Comicon. The manager was super helpful and very communicative. The place was very clean. The only thing was if you are staying in the winter/when it's cold out, the heat isn't on until you turn it on. We didn't get in until late that first night and it took a while for it to warm up. After it gets warmed up, it's great.

Charming
The apartment was clean, we were able to communicate quickly with the host any time of day, and the heating worked well as described. The host was extremely accommodating and the location was central to a lot of great public transit routes. I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay in Seattle
Excellent location. Walking distance to Lumen Field and the waterfront. Easy access to and from the airport. Property is dated, but was clean, and the property owner was excellent at responding to communication.

Great home base for seeing Seattle
Great location in Capital Hill, so much nearby to see and do, as well as so close to downtown. Spacious rooms, property manager was always one step ahead of me, and we all slept great. I would totally stay there again.

Good spot close to downtown
This was a basic apartment but it was clean and spacious. No issues and owner was communicative. When we did not get instructions to check in immediately, the owner sent them over quickly after I asked. Overall good spot.

Overall was excellent. Lot of stairs to rental. Clean and comfy beds. Nice big kitchen we did not use. Really great towels. Close to coffee shops and university. Quick Uber to downtown or port.

Disappointing. Was informed that heating all came from the kitchen with doors open to each bedroom AFTER confirming booking. Apartment very run down, stained and dirty furniture, I’ll-equipped. I would not recommend this property, or stay here again.

Perfect stop for an overnighter
Went to the Seahawks game so didn’t spend much time in the property. Beds were comfy, all of them and the house was clean and cozy. Would stay again.

Cute with character!
Not your typical gentrified Seattle experience. This property is authentically old, but well kept. We appreciated the character! Walking distance from lots of great food and venues, a nice Cap Hill find! :)

Cute place, great location
The house is older, but charming. The beds are very comfortable and the location is perfect for downtown, hospital and Seattle U purposes. It doesn't have a big gathering area, but with all the restaurants and local offerings close by, we didn't need that. The hosts are very responsive and great to work with. We were very happy with our visit.

Just as described, close to downtown. The host provided great instructions ahead and during. Only downside was finding parking and the place was a bit chilly upon arrival. Overall, good spot with plenty of room for a small group

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay, the location is great if you are walking or wanting to catch short Uber's around town. Beds were comfy and the water was very warm which was awesome after a day in the rain. If you are a light sleeper, I would highly recommend brining some ear plugs. The front room is located near a main road and can get noisy on a weekend (it is also located near a hospital). Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Worst experience ever
After flying all day and ubering from the airport to the property (25 mins) we were welcomed with the surprise of other peoples luggage and bags all over the apartment. The owner had let other guests stay in our reserved unit and didn’t clean anything up. We had to call the owner and he had to call the other people back to the apartment but after seeing what a mess it was we couldn’t stay.

Hi Corey, first of all, my deep apologies to what happened, I totally understand your disappointment, none of us wanted it, it was caused by another guest checked into your unit one day earlier without confirming with me, the unit was occupied by a mistake, there was no intention not cleaning the unit before your check-in. I offered several options to mitigate the issue in a very short time window with my best effort, I was hoping you were satisfied for that part of the handling. I already improved the check-in process to make sure this won't happen again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was so close (right across the street) from Seattle University, where my grand daughter was checking in that weekend. The property had very comfortable bed, was very clean and had a lot of room for the 3 of us. I will definitely stay there again. The host answered all my questions right away. 😊

Nice Apartment in a Good Location
Nice three bedroom apartment. It's an older building but it was clean with comfortable beds. The area was nice and walkable, we walked to dinner one night. There are some things to keep in mind though, one bedroom has a futon and a TV. This is the only gathering spot other than the kitchen table. There is no other family space. Secondly the front bedroom does get some street noise but it should not be an issue if you are a good sleeper. Overall this is a great place if you want a centrally located place to sleep with a kitchen.

Great place in central location
Easy check in, desks were great to work at, full kitchen was a pleasure to cook small meals in. Location is super walkable and host pointed out the best way to park on the street for free although there is a paid lot directly behind the unit which would be super convenient if you were open to paying. Neatly decorated, and not cluttered at all. It was a simple and relaxed place to stay. The one thing I noticed was you could not get internet in the back bedroom but it worked everywhere else!

Good location!
Well...the pictures online did not reflect the size of the apt. It was darker than I thought it would be. The weather was fine, so air conditioning was not an issue, but if it had been hot, it could have been an issue. Great coffee shop around the corner! This part of town had some homeless people that affected our departure. Some people may have problems with that, I did not!

Ron, I am very happy that you rated the place 5 stars in all subcategories. It sounds little disappointing on the pictures in the listing, all pictures are taken by an iPhone without any modifications, the total area is about 900 sf as provided in the listing. The homeless on streets is not only an concern for tourists but also for local residents. I hope the city can help all of us to improve the situation. My best wishes!
