シアトルにまた行く時は必ずこちらに宿泊したいです。スタッフには日本人の方がいらして、あたたかく歓迎していただきました。歴史ある建物ですし、インテリアも趣きのあるスタイルで、私は好きでした。バスローブがどのホテルより着心地がよく最高です。宿泊している方々が、落ち着いた感じですし、かなり居心地が良いです。

部屋はとても綺麗でスタッフの方も親切でした。pike place marketやStarbucks Reserve、space needle など観光地はほとんど徒歩で行ける距離にあったのでロケーションは良かったです。ただ、少し坂の上にあるのでスーツケースがあるときはバスを利用するのもいいと思います。

Was a charming older building, could use some renovations of course, but the proximity to Virginia Mason for appointments was our primary reason for stay. Staff was very friendly and after a long day on the road, the smooth, check-in was much appreciated!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was some renovation being done to the exterior that hindered our view but the interior charm made up for that. It was a pleasant stay and we would stay again whenever we return to Seattle.

We had the most amazing stay here. Wonderful staff and a beautiful room. We also had dinner and drinks at the Stella restaurant downstairs, everything was delicious. Could not have asked for better service. Will stay here again for sure.

The Hotel Sorrento has a lot of potential. The localtion is cool, in that you can easily (for the most part) walk to Capitol Hill or Downtown. I walked to the Mariners game from the hotel and it was a breeze. Unfortuantely, during my stay the elevator was broken and I was on the 6th floor. The communication from the staff regarding this was limited at best. So after long days of walking around Seattle, gettig to the hotel to walk up 6 flights of stairs was a bit of a drag. There are no robes or much else in terms of little soft touches. What the hotel is in desperate need of is some staff training and some sort of managerial oversight to address issues as they come up. There is a restuarant attached to the hotel, but in-room dining didn't seem realistic, and the hours especially on the weekend did not fit my schedule, but that being said, there are plenty of places in Seattle for all meals of the day, so I didn't sweat it. It did have the feeling that I was simply renting a bed for a couple of days. I received an earful from one of the bartenders at Stella, for reasons I can't fully explain, but involved another guest, for which she took it out on me in front of other guests, after I had just walked in to order a beer to take back to the lounge as no one working seemed interested in waiting on the table. I didn't make a big deal about any of the problems, as the elevator was a freak thing. But the staff could all use additional training and a new bartender.

Wish our stay at Hotel Sorrento had been different, I've stayed at this property in the past and enjoyed it. Sadly, during this stay we were given a room that is in need of a renovation, the bathroom was without a window and was quite cramped. The room itself had very little lighting as is was located in the centre of the hotel and the room layout was a bit bizarre, quite large but outdated and laid out in a way that made the space feel awkward. The major issue we had was the 8:30 AM construction workers that arrived to utilze the construction shaft located directly outside our room window, they also proceeded (with what sounded like) sanding of floors directly above of room. The front desk was sympathetic and waived the $27 resort fee, they stated that it was a mistake and the construction was not scheduled. Thankfully, the noise only carried on for under an hour before someone at the hotel clued into the error. Not sure if we were provided a sub standard room given that we booked through Expedia vs. directly through the property. I'll spare some additional details as Hotel Sorrento typically is quite enjoyable and we may have just had an unusual experience, The beds were lovely, linens were crips, and we thouroughly enjoyed the lobby bar Stella, the fireside room is an absolute pleasure to enjoy and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating otherwise.

This is classic old-school elegance - a little mismatched furniture doesn’t detract too much from the grace and charm of this century-old historic hotel. Staff were extremely accommodating! A highlight was Aperitivo Hour in the Fireside Lounge. A perfect place to stay while attending the Noir City film festival at the Egyptian Cinema.

My trip to Seattle came about because of a medical procedure at a nearby hospital. To my surprise Kieran at the front desk kindly upgraded me to a beautiful suite to have a restful night before the early morning procedure. Had a family emergency and needed to stay near the hospital. Excellent location, beautiful building and welcoming staff.

Nice heritage property close to cap hill nightlife. Would be a good spot if you’re visiting from out of town for medical procedures as it’s close to many hospitals too.
