Room was clean. My room faced the country restaurant. Very noisy traffic, but wasn’t a big issue for me. Might be for some. 「We planned a short getaway to Friday Harbor with our two small children. I booked the room with the garden terrace not quite knowing what to expect. WOW! Although we felt a little awkward with the kids (most people staying there at the time did not have kids), we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. 「Lopez Island is about as laid back as you can get and this place fits right in. Management is very laid back. Check in process is the key being left on the desk by the front door. Rather expensive, but when there are few options on Lopez that's what you get. It was the second time I stayed there. The first time we stayed in a separate small house behind the hotel.
