The room and the staffs were good except for the bouncers(security) at gold club. The way they take advantage of drunk people by stealing their money and things is the worst attitude any staff can do to a guest.

Room too hot with heavy bed linen. Only drinking water in room was refilled reusable water bottle in fridge - should be sealed bottle waters for hygiene. Restaurants look impressive - but as always, style over substance - why not try smaller menus but better quality?

Hi Daniel,Thank you for your feedback. Was the AC not working in the room?With our bottled water, this is the Kangen filtered water which is healthier than bottled water, which we refill in our glass bottles. The bottles are of course washed and sterilised before they are refilled, and this is also a more eco-friendly alternative to one use bottled water.Please advise what you mean by smaller menus? We have different menus for each of our restaurants as well as the cafe and the bar, which try to cover the varying clientele we serve each day. If there is a dish that is requested by our guests, our chef can try to make something to suit, but we do need a little more detail to do this.

Very Expensive for Room provided, unit had a common balcony was not private and noisy. Room was like it need to be renovated. Paid high price for average room when I could've stayed elsewhere in a 5 Star Hotel. Food expensive and average quality. I'm happy to pay a high price for good rooms and good food. Overall, very disappointed and won't stay there again. Reception was even filthy and bench not wiped. When in Moresby next, back to then Hilton for me!! Sorry been spoilt.

Hi Cherlyn,You are very good at complaining on a website but not very good at responding in person when our Front office manager and sales manager reached out to you to help you while you were in-house.You paid ONLY PGK450 inclusive of GST per night, this included breakfast and even upgraded to our executive room ( photo of the actual room online). I know for a fact our reception is cleaned as we have cleaners 24 hours and our bench is not filthy as you mentioned.I remember you complaining on FB about Hilton's service last year, and calling them racist for serving you less than equal, so not sure how you think you're spoilt.We're happy you are going elsewhere as you are not a nice person to have around, when people work hard to try to please you.

Waited ages for the hotel bus. Staff very reluctant to give internet saying we booked through a third party. Poor signage from our room to lobby. People smoking in the hallway. I fell down a step that was not even noticeable . Again waited ages for the bus from hotel to airport. Almost missed flight.

Our overall experience at Lamana Hotel was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast was nice. Location was central, close to Port Moresby’s largest shopping centre and Hotel felt safe and secure. Friday and Saturday nights are a little bit noisy as the hotel has a nightclub, but thanks to the reasonable price for our stay we were ok with a bit of noise, it wasn’t loud enough to keep us awake all night. The complimentary airport shuttle service was great too. Would definitely recommend staying at Lamana Hotel.

Lovely except on Friday and Saturday nights!
Lovely friendly staff. Very clean. The restaurant at 'Spices' offers really good Indian food. The main issues was it was very noisy on Friday and Saturday nights when the Club was in full swing.
