When we arrived in the car park, there was some sort of emergency going on with police and ambulances, so that wasn't a great start. It was a bit of a struggle trying to find the lobby and the guy that checked us in wasn't particularly friendly. It is unclear to me why, when a hotel is pre-booked through Expedia, that the hotel require my home address, email address, and more details.I accidentally left my drivers license in the reception and he did call me to come and collect it, so that was nice.
The rooms were clean and had everything that was promised. The hotel is right off a busy road, so because of that, it does feel a little unsafe, but that could just be from the noise that is generated.
Breakfast was not fantastic - just a small offering and it all seemed a little grim to be honest. Breakfast was all served with single-use polystyrene plates and cups, which isn't great for the environment, but is clearly done for convenience.
The location was ok and being so close to the main road, meant we were able to go in any direction quickly.
If the rate is cheap enough, I would say it is an ok stay.
