Location, location, location. Perfectly situated for exploring the city. The rooms are tired. A/C loud. Everything needs refreshing. We got locked out of our room - electronic key malfunctioned. Staff responded quickly. Door had to be pried open and we were assigned a new room. Swimming pool - definitely a plus. In general, staff were friendly and helpful. Good to have El Cardenal restaurant in the lobby.

Everything fine apart from the room temperature. The staff supposedly was able to override the 72 degree temp inside and allow it to cool. But it never worked. They told us it would take 1 day to cool down but the temp stayed the same and was too warm to sleep well overnight.

The hotel is absolutely excellent, the location perfect for visiting historic city area and many attractions within walking distance. However, the area of the hotel is extremely busy/crowded and did not feel very safe in evening/night. Many food places around and in hotel but clearly aimed at tourists (expensive and not very good) so to find better options we uber away to other neighborhoods. Overall, if first visit and you want to be at the heart of the action, this is probably best option.

The best about this property is the kindness of their staff. Absolutely the best hotel staff ever, not only they are helpful they welcome you with a smile and make your stay memorable. It is absolutely amazing! Also the location is perfect, walking distance from the center and as a hub to to explore the city is fantastic!!!

Great central location to take in the city. Felt safe and lots of things to do. Lots of places to eat. Avenida Juarez. Will stay there again
