The Hotel is amazing. The rooms are great and you have a nice rooftop bar. Also the pool was nice and the location is perfect in the middle of the city of Makassar. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. From the hotel you can easily take a boat trip to Samalona Island. It takes only 25 min. I would definitely recommend Swiss-bel Hotel when you are going to visit Makassar.

Best location you can get in Makassar .The staff are so friendly and always try to help . I have stayed here many times and will always stay if I come to Makassar .

Nice hotel by the sea
The hotel is located next to the ocean. You can get a great view during breakfast. The hotel is good for its price!

After complaint - top service
Check in was smooth. We liked the hotel and wanted to extend our stay for one night. Had to be moved to a different category room, which was fine with us. After being told two times they will call us back in the room and transfer us to
The new room still nothing happened. We waited 2 hours in our room in the end got transferred to the operator where no one picked up the phone.
After I heavily complained at the reception and requested the manager to explain that this is not how four star hotels can treat their clients, things started moving.
We got transferred to the new room and a dedicated person from the reception helped us immediately with all further requests and questions during our stay. Nungki was very helpful in organizing us massages in the room (which were splendid!!) and helping us to arrange our tour to Toraja.
Later in the day we got a phone call from the management who wanted to upgrade our room as means of apologies for the inconveniences.
I would book the hotel again; rooms were clean and showers were warm. However, Swiss hospitality standards must be looked for elsewhere.

No bathrobe like was said in the description, but other than that was good place to stay.
Gravity bar lvl20 is great bonus.
