I would never want to go back to this hostel 'cause of their bad customer service.
These shower rooms are not easy to use. No locker, no shelves.. and in some, water just spreads into a mist.
Breakfast is at 5 pounds. No fridge. No kettle.
The storage room (shed?) is away from the reception - outside the building. Being away from the building where the reception desk is, it's not attended by the staff, which means someone can rearrange and potentially can take out whatever they want to... if they want to. Although it is equipped with a lock, the pass code is widely shared by all the existing guests (supposedly over 100 of them) (and possibly by many of their previous guests). Therefore, I didn't feel safe about my luggage while it was stored in there on the last day after my checkout. Your stuff can easily be dropped (and damaged) without no one being responsible. (But you have no other choice.)
The hostel is located within Holland Park, which has many beautiful gardens great for morning and evening walks. The hostel is within an approx 10-min walk from High Street Kensington station, around which there are many interesting and useful shops including M & S, banks, restaurants, fast-food stores, a wholefood store, a convenience store, a famous pub, etc. Kensington Palace is also just nearby.
For one night accommo, it's all right. But when you stay longer than that, you might really get fed up with how you are treated by the reception staff and all...
