Lets start with the good, overall the staff was amazing, helpful and kind. The pool & common areas were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The food was tasty and there were great selections. I liked that there was security around the areas.
The not so great- When I arrived the front desk continued to ask for my Kuwaiti ID although I am clearly not from there. When assigned my room it took me forever to find the building, It would be helpful if the buildings were labeled. Neither the security guard nor the people at the SPALOON could direct me in the right direction which I thought was weird. Although my room was overall lovely, the bathroom was not at all up to what you expect from "The Palms" the ceiling did not meet the walls and there was pieces peeling and falling, there was mold at the base of the shower and the tiles were dirty.
The sensor on my television was broken and hanging off the front of the screen making it very difficult to work the remote and see the TV.
Lastly, I had an appointment for a massage, when I arrived I added a body scrub. each session is supposed to be 60 min but I found my self "complete" and walking out of the spa after only 90 min. so the services were nowhere near 60 min each. Even with the discount I have gotten better and more service for better prices in the city.
Overall the hotel is good and there were certain 4-star aspects but in my opinion not worth the over 200$ price tag.
