We are a very small and quaint operation and we know that our guests have a multitude of options with the traditional hotels in Kingston. But we're always glad when a 'first-timer' ends up having a great and comfortable time with us! That being said, it was wonderful having you for the time you were here! And I certainly will be letting Nurse know your touching feedback. This place really couldn't run without her!

Thanks for the review! But I think maybe your definition of continental may be a little different! If tea/coffee, a variety of fruits, eggs and toast done to your liking isn't continental I'm not sure what is! Seems all my guests have a different view of what 'continental' is! Thanks for the review! Outdoor furniture is something we hadn't seriously considered before (guess because it had been raining so much in the last few months) but I will take this under major advisement. That's a great idea and we will definitely explore further! Glad you enjoyed our stay with us!

HI Cary, I already explained and apologised about the lack of hot water, we have two tanks to heat, but sometimes, especially if we have a full house, once in while the heat may be inadequate. Had you let us know instead of running the water for so long I could have just asked for your patience and flexibility to allow a few minutes for it to heat. Low water pressure was our back-up supply as there was no water in the neighborhood due to the utility company doing work ...luckily for that. I apologize for the dog, normally he's pretty quiet but unfortunately I don't have much control over our neighbor's dog. So sorry we seemed to have dropped the ball.

Breakfast was prepared for you, it is explained verbally to all our guests when they arrive and in our email, and is done for all of our guests to their liking whenever they're up and about. Simply let us know when you're ready and we will prepare it. Someone is available to let in all our guests at any time, night or day. We are small guest house in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We have never felt the need for additonal security, nor have or other guests ever given us feeback about feeling unsafe to warrant having guards. We strive to be attentive to our guests to make them happy and comfortable, but I'm very confident there was nothing myself or Miss Sinclaire could have done that you wouldn't have found fault with. The level of concierge service you might have been expecting is readily available at big hotels.

Hello Ron, Thanks for the feedback. We apologise for the doorbell not working, it had just come to our attention that it had been malfunctioning due to water getting into the wires because of all the heavy rain. We are addressing that issue as we speak. I had misinformed my housekeeper as to the number of guests for your room hence the one towel but will look into why there weren't any washcloths as that is standard for every room. As for breakfast, we only serve a simple continental at the moment but are always looking for cost effective ways to be able to provide a wider variety for our guests. We do appreciate the concrete feedback thanks again.
