We have a child with special needs and the property’s elevator became inoperable, effectively stranding us in our above ground room on our mountain getaway.
Biggest problem, however, was the property management company’s response. Although they did move us to a new room, this took up hours in the day, that coupled with being stranded, we missed out on time doing what we were there for in the mountains. Under the circumstances, a partial refund or credit for future use would have been fair, but the property management company refused.
