The room is very dirty and there is no water coming from the shower and even from the tap. We call the staff to check them but they said it has not broken and we have to wait for an hour to use them. It was terrible. FYI, We stayed a casa on the another day and there was clean and comfortable. We could use the tap and the shower with hot and enough water.

Hotes Asqueroso
El Hotel Vedado es un asco, el restaurante lleno de moscas y las habitaciones con cucarachas. El personal del Lobby habla con muchas groserías entre ellos, creen que nadie les entiende sus leperadas. No entran llamadas desde fuera aunque sean nacionales. Las tarifas de llamadas nacionales se las inventan y por arriba del costo real. Los que cuidan la entrada te recomiendan solo el restaurante privado que tienen enfrente que es muy muy caro y dicen que los demás que están cerca son pésimos cuando no es cierto. NO LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE!!!!!!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Although the customer service was okay the hotel is ran down and needs a lot of work. The sheets were dirty. The bath towels were old and damaged. The tub was horrible. The toilet didn’t work well. The safe did not work. The breakfast was horrible minus the omelettes. I had the worst experience ever of all my traveling and decided to leave a day early. Because of my frustration I left my wallet behind unintentionally and when reaching out to the hotel through hotels.com they were not helpful in trying to retrieve my belongings. Then I reached out myself via email 2 days ago and have yet to respond. The worst experience ever.

When I got there they had to move me because there was no water. Then they moved me to the hotel next to then 2 of those rooms there was no A/C in the rooms. Then my bed to the Flamego to finish my trip they had roachs. Staff the last to hotel were the bomb, but too many bugs

Lamentamos leer su comentario, pero nos gustaría dar una explicación: el agente de seguridad, así como el salvavidas en la piscina, están al servicio de los clientes para garantizar una estancia tranquila. Quien no es huésped del hotel, no está registrado, no es admitido en las habitaciones y en la piscina, una regla válida que debe respetarse en todos los hoteles del mundo, también en Cuba.

Y el gimnasio funciona si aparece el encargado (que no fue el caso). También estaba estropeado el aire acondicionado. Por lo demás, personal agradable, el desayuno bien y la habitación muy cómoda y amplia.

Terrible room, and by mistake!
I arrived at Hotel Vedado. They did not have my expedia reservation, but then gave me a room that was dirty and broken in every way. The shower did not drain, the toilet did not flush all the time, the lamps were also broken, the windows so dirty! The bed sheets were also filthy. One night about 30 water bugs felt from the ceiling into the bathroom sink and shower. It was disgusting. I later found out that they should have placed me in a better room in the floors they reserve for Expedia reservations.

I was greeted my Daniel who was so nice when i arrived with my 11y/o son. He helped us with our luggages and helped us get settled into our room after check-in. The staff, especially Javier, Alexei and the housekeeper (I sayed in room 804) were all attentive and treated us great! I had a nice view and if the streets and the Malecon. Taxis are always available and the pool was a great addition after being in the sun all day. Everything is closeby and its so safe. My son would go on his own to buy water, ice cream or soda. Cuban people are amongst the best people I ever met. They all treat you like family! I plan to come back very soon!

Great location
I loved my overall stay in the hotel, the staff where trying to accommodate my needs as much their English was available to them which is much better than my Spanish! The rooms were clean and tidy, nice size, the bathrooms however needs some renovation as they are really old. But I understand it’s havana and for the price I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast has a great variety for a vegan (rice, beans, sautéed vegetables, steamed pumpkin, fresh fruits) so it was and added bonus!
