The room was quite simple but not so bad. The air conditioner hasn't worked under some cold weather like 10 degC and in the bathtub the hot water had stopped when filling then it was cold to use it. You can enjoy good access to the old quarter, but for me the impression about this stay was something cold, accompanied with cold weather occasionally hit onto my stay.

予想以上に寒くて

11月末に宿泊しましたが、東京と同じくらいの気温で寒かったです。にも拘わらず、お湯の出が悪く（最初は熱いが、すぐにぬるくなる）、苦労しました。暑い時期なら気にならなかったのでしょうが、寒くてこの点は残念でした。　ロケーション的には良かったと思います。

ある程度旅慣れている人向け

男性4名・2部屋で宿泊。事前の人数変更やチェックイン時間変更などのメッセージ連絡などにも対応してくれた。片方の部屋はシャワーの湯やトイレの水が出なかったりした(半日後に復旧)。アメニティは室内スリッパ・バスタオル・石鹸・シャンプー・歯ブラシ。ドライヤーは壊れていた。周囲の騒音や居住性は値段を考えれば良い方で、観光アクセスの拠点としても問題はない。

まー値段相当でした。シャワーはすぐ横がトイレでシャワーカーテンもないのでトイレが水浸し。ベッドにシーツはかけてありましたが、毛布はカバーがされないままタンスにつっこんでありました。

市中心

立地が良くて、安いからここを決めました。スタッフみんな笑顔がいっぱいで、親切でした。この値段なら文句なしです。次回また泊まりたいと思います。

がっかり

エアコンが設置されているのではなくて、それはクーラー専用だから暖房が出来ない。部屋にスリッパがない。電気ポットもない。シャワーのお湯もぬるい程度。とにかく嘘が多くてウンザリ。coolar only(room is cold in winter season),coffee/tea maker is not.slippers is not.ｈot water of the shower is lukewarm. anyway, there are many lies and is disgusting.

安くて、市街地に近いホテル

旧市街の中にあるホテルなので、街中の喧騒はかなりあります。空港送迎サービスもあり、初めてハノイに来た人にはとてもいいと思う。また、近くに美味しいフォー屋さんがあったりと、食事には困らない環境です。ただ、私達が泊まった部屋はエアコンが壊れており、冬のハノイは結構寒いので、実のところあまり眠れなかった。翌日は部屋を変えてくれる予定だったが、部屋がなかったのか、別の近くのホテルに移動することになり、ちょっとびっくりした。 4泊の予定がこのホテルには1泊しかしなかったということだが、スタッフも優しく明るくいいと思います。ハロン湾ツアーの予約がしっかりとれてなかったのには、少しびっくりでしたが。。。まぁ、色々あったけど、結果的には楽しいハノイの旅だったので、よかったです。

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Money exchange currency was ok. Room was very nice. The street was little bit noisy but after 1.00am very silent. Breakfast included and it was very tasty! I stayed here 3 nights and i would recommend this hostel to all.

Einfaches, zentrales und sauberes Hotel

Es ist nicht ein Luxushotel, aber ich fühlte mich sehr wohl und sicher. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend, gibt einem gerne Tipps für das Sightseeing und ist für alle Fragen da.

Not a bad stay.

Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom could use an update but was alright. WiFi was very spotty on all floors. Breakfast was fair. Front desk staff was really nice.

Friendly staff and lovely rooms

Although we reached Hanoi City Hostel much earlier than the check-in time, the receptionist was very accomodating. We were given breakfast and had the option to even shower and freshen up while he got our room ready. Both the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. For the price you pay, the rooms are good and well kept. The location of the hotel is great since you're in the heart of all the action and you won't have any trouble getting back after having a couple of the famed Hanoi beers.

We booked a visit at this hotel but when we arrived they said our room was not available. Instead we got another room in another hotel. Lower quality, half of the stars, not that nice but it was okay for two nights. A gym was suppose to be included but when we asked after the gym they didn't wanted to show us until the next morning - not sure if it existed? Breakfast included, good location.

跟照片差異過大

衛浴設備過於老舊，使用起來都很擔心出意外，例：洗臉盆掉落等，附設衛浴用品明顯已使用過，卻無更換，棉被上有明顯髒污也沒換，門歪了也很難關好，實在感到可怕。

Les plus : la localisation, chambre grande et correcte, la jeune femme à l'accueil présente la journée est très gentille et arrangeante, les excursions proposées de qualité Les moins : le petit déjeuner très limité, service de lingerie trop cher, l'accueil est parfois laissé à un homme ne parlant pas un mot d'anglais ! (même le traducteur ni fait rien..), le personnel de nuit pas très agréable

Very good hostel highly recommend

We booked for three nights when we got there we were welcomed with a ice cold glass of water while waiting to check in. We were surprised when we got into the room at how big it was. Breakfast is good and all staff are very friendly. They helped us book a boat cruise and while we were on the cruise we realised we had paid a very cheap price compared to some others. We booked an extra night once back from cruise and were given a very friendly welcome back by all staff. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels given each day.

호텔 사장님께서 친절히 대해 주셨습니다. 지도랑 주변에 어디를 여행하면 좋은지 등등 하노이에서 조금 더 머물고 싶을 정도로^^

첫날갓더니 방이 없다고 세컨호텔이있다면서 안내함 모텔같은 아니 한국에 더이상 이런모텔도없을거임 그런곳으로 가서 자라고함 담날9시에 오면방주겟다함 담날9시에감 방없다고함 사람들이 방안에 짐들을 뿌리고 나가서 못뺀다함 갑자기 하룽베이투어 우리 호스텔꺼이용하라고 드립만쳐댐 ㅋㅋ 셋째날 다른여행사를이용하룽베이갓다오니 짐이없어짐 지들맘대로 3번째호텔로 옴겨놓고 더 좋다 이게더좋다 왜그러냐 이드립침ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 와진심 개빡쳐서죽는줄 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 베트남이란 나라자체가 지긋지긋함 국민성이고뭐고 다시다생각하게됨 평생 출장빼고 다시는 베트남 안갈예정.

Vi hamnade visserligen på ett annat hotell av samma ägare eftersom det blivit knas med rummet (inte hotellets utan en gästs fel), men spenderade ändå tillräckligt med tid på hanoi city hostel för att bedöma. Rummen var fräscha, bra wifi och ägaren ms. Moon är otroligt hjälpsam. Frukosten är rolig (man får välja en maträtt och en dryck, sen får man en banan också) och om man har tur får man ett extra bröd! Jättebra för priset man betalat

fantastic service, large rooms, clean

Best stay so far and the most value for money. Stayed here 3 times in the course of 10 days. Made trips to halong bay and Sapa but couldn't help but come back to this hotel because it feels like home

Great service, value for money, English speaking

Best hostel I've stayed in for the past one month that is around this budget.. I've been to some that are more expensive and it still doesn't best this place. Breakfast is so so, but service is top of the top.. U won't regret it! I came back 3 times ( once for a few days, booked a halong tour came back to stay, booked a sapa tour and I'm back here again). Walking dist to everywhere. Make sure u mark down ur street name and everything, it may get hard to find at night cause there are no lights in the hostel front after 12!

Great stay in the middle of the old quarter

The hotel is rated highly in TripAdvisor with good reason. The stay was very pleasant. The location is in the middle of the old quarter. The staff is friendly and trustworthy. They were a great help with booking travel around northern Vietnam. In each case, I was happy with the tour group I was placed with. It seems they work with the better ones. I'd happily stay with them again.

Good location, Excellent service

The rooms are good, spacious and clean. The main reason to stay though is for the staff information. They spoke English and everyone on staff at the front desk was informative and helpful. Also good location within walking distance to many attractions and cafe Comga on the corner was good.

great location, price, and staff

Great location and got a great deal for a dou le. Room was very clean. The main woman who worked the desk was awesome and helpful and super friendly. The younger girl who worked the desk on our last day was rude and cared more about her cell phone than anything else and is the only reason I didn't give the service a 5 rating. Good thing she only worked 1 night. Good, but not great, breakfast too. I would recommend.

VERY GOOD

Stayed here for 1 night. Although it was the superior room, it was spacious, clean and had a big window. I liked it! And we found the staff very helpful (The woman staff did remebered my name and always called me my name exactly. It touched me.)and willing to share their knowledge of Hanoi and help us book a Halong tour as well as the train to other city! The breakfast was simple but tasted nice. The location really good to get around Hanoi! I recommend this hotel to anyone!

하노이 스탑오버로 딱입니다

공항에서 걷기에는 부담되고 택시로는 5분 거리에 있어서 3달러면 해결됩니다. 엘레베이터가 없는데 호텔 남자 직원이 친절하게 무거운 캐리어를 다 들어주어서 감동했습니다

Staff great but building needs work!

Ok, so we chose this place because the location was good, price was right & reviews pretty good for budget accom. A number of accom options hence the Hostel moniker. We had "deluxe" private rooms apparently! Staff great, helpful & friendly, tried their hardest BUT the product they are working with needs a lot of work. We (6 pax) ended up staying for 5 nights mainly because we were out each day on tours etc & it was convenient, but in the end it wore us down & we couldn't wait to be out of there. Biggest problem was the dampness & persistent probs with aircons & remotes that didn't work (very unhealthy & we weren't the only ones to comment/complain). Plumbing also a major issue. Bathrooms awash, no floormats, leaking sinks and bath tubs. Linen was clean & changed daily but threadbare & one only small towel each barely adequate. Plaster & paint peeling off the walls; step into the bathroom came away each time it was touched. Breakfast very basic, but the young lads who served were fun & friendly & did their best. Has a lift which is very welcome. If you used the stairs you were competing for space with boxes, ladders & all manner of clutter, & it was always dark (I slipped & hurt myself badly). Thank heavens there wasn't a fire. Health & safety inspectors in Aus would have a field day. I think Expedia and others listing these premises need to check the accuracy of info because what you see in the pictures is NOT what you find upon arrival. We wont be back.

Staff could not have been more helpful

We had an issue with our bank cards- all of which were being declined- and the staff were incredibly patient and helpful in aiding us in contacting banks in the UK. They were also indispensable in helping us book trains and buses and taxis and boat trips at very reasonable rates. When we came back to Hanoi for the day but weren't staying with them they let us store our luggage with them for the day before we caught our final train out of Hanoi. The beds are the MOST comfortable!! And the showers good pressure and plenty of hot water. Highly recommend!
