I like this hotel because everything was decent for me, except that the temperature of the shower water was not hot like I have expected.
To be honest, I didn't expect the view from my room, but I could catch see the sea (from the side of the balcony)!
The hotel staff were generally helpful, including the tours/trips organiser (Fiona) but some of the evening staff not so good. Breakfast was decent overall but predictable. Cleanliness was excellent but there are 13 floors and one of the two lifts was constantly out of action during our week’s stay despite multiple attempts to fix it. Our TV also had no English channels working and even when fixed was limited to BBC and Al Jazeera news - not that we wanted to watch TV much but a bit surprising for a country where English is a national language and there are so many British visitors. The position is convenient even if on a side street and the access to the waterfront pool area is good. It’s located within a couple of minutes walking of bus stops with multiple frequent local buses into Valletta and also the Sliema ferry terminal. Overall a really decent base for sightseeing but just needs some more attention to detail and customer service.
