嫌な気持ちになったチェックイン

チェックイン時、サービス料６％込みで既にカードで支払っているにもかかわらず、こちらが宿泊確認書を印刷して持っていなかったので、フロントでは英文の確認書ではない料金が書いたものを持ち出してきて、サービス料が払われていないと主張、持っていた携帯でメールで送られてきた宿泊確認書（日本文）にはサービス料込みでの支払い済みと書かれていたので追加で支払うことはなかったが、わざとサービス料6％を二重に取ろうとしたのか、それとも本当に気がつかなかったのかは不明だが、宿泊確認書印刷したもの持参かスマホなどで提示できるようにしておいた方が良いと思います。チェックイン時、嫌な気分になりました。

何処に行くのも便利なロケーション

コムターから徒歩２分で、便利なロケーションでペナンではバス移動でも何処にいくのも便利です。また、斜め向かいにはスーパーマーケットもあり、食材、日曜品も問題なく調達可能。朝食のブッフェはホテルの部屋数の規模からすると、メニューの品揃えは少ないものの、可もなく不可もないと言ったところです。もう少し改善が必要な点としては、チェックインの時間が少々掛かりすぎでした。また、部屋にはバスタオルはありますが、フェイスタオル、ハンドタオルはありませんでした。

場所はコムタが目印になって便利です。シャワーは据付タイプ。ソープ類は、シャンプー＋コンディショナー＋ボディソープの1種類のみ！！そんなのある？！女性はシャンプー&コンディショナー必須です。（近くにドラッグストアあるので現地調達可能です）アメニティはコットン、綿棒、シャワーキャップと…脱脂綿？！あと歯ブラシ。

清潔感があるがアメニティ不足

部屋もシンプルで清潔感があり気に入りました。価格もとてもリーズナブルです。ただ、アメニティにシャンプーとコンディショナーが備えられてなくて、わざわざ買いに行きました。また、シャワー室と洗面所の段差が浅く、シャワー後洗面所の床がびしょびしょになってしまいました。それらの改善を是非してください。

プールが屋上にあります。昼間に行ってベンチでうとうとしているとわずか15分でひどい日焼けに見舞われました。朝食は、日によって多少出るものが変わっていますが、東南アジアだからなのか、肉や卵などのメニューが少ない感じがしました。

便利、でもびっくり

立地と値段で選びましたが、コムタのすぐ近くで買い物に便利なスーパーも近所、バスでの移動にも便利です。チエックインもスムーズで手際よくホテルの方の対応も大げさでなく感じよかったです。（追加で税金を払う必要がありますが。）古いですが部屋は広く、通常の掃除や部屋の設えは毎日きちんとしてあります。屋上のプールは見晴らしがよく、2階に運動不足解消のになる簡単な設備のジムもあって嬉しかったです。ただ、滞在途中で1回断水し（通知はなく。）回復後もしばらく濁った水が出たので、汗だくで帰ってきてすぐにシャワーを使えずがっかり。また、コーヒーでお菓子を食べていたら、足元をネズミが・・・一瞬、見間違いかと思いましたが、しばらくしてまたでした。これにはびっくりでした。周囲に飲食店が多いせいかも？

町の中心地にあるホテル

2回目の宿泊ですが、今回も満足しました。部屋はコンパクトで綺麗です。歯ブラシ、スリッパあります。バスローブはありません。浴室はシャワーのみです。お湯はふんだんに出ます。 TVは、NHKは映りません。海外のニュース、ワーナーブラザーズチャンネルあります。フィットネスは2階にありますが、マシーンは少ないです。朝食は、パン、ご飯、おかゆ、ソーセージ、豆、ポテト、野菜、フルーツ、まんじゅう、チキンのお肉、麺類、ジュース、コーヒー・紅茶、パンケーキかフレンチトースト、エッグステーションもあり、オムレツやスクランブルエッグ、目玉焼き等調理してもらえます。食事は美味しいです。夜は、1階で飲めます。また道路の真向かいにも酒屋があります。

交通は便利、水周りが微妙

部屋は清潔感もあり、プールも綺麗だったのですが、シャワーの排水が悪く洗面所に流れ出てしまい、水周りが残念でした。立地はとてもいいと思います。バスも利用しやすくスーパーでお酒も買えるし、一階に簡単なコンビニもあり、目の前の食堂も普通に美味しかったです。

場所は便利。受付の待ち時間が長い

スタイリッシュなホテル。なぜかスタッフがみな金髪のカツラをつけてました（たまたまなのかいつもなのか分かりませんが…）そんなことより受付の対応が遅くてイライラします。中国人の観光客かしらないけど、団体が多いイメージでいきなり割り込まれる時もあるので、積極的に主張すべきです。朝食つきのプランでしたが、朝食はそれなりに満足しました。場所もコムターに近いのでバス移動に便利でオススメです。チェックインだけが微妙でイライラするので、そこを人員拡充してほしいです。部屋は格安なので普通のダブルルームでしたが、wifiは1Mbps前後と遅かったです（たぶん部屋によりますが）

コムタに近いホテル

コムタバスターミナルほ歩いて３分くらいスーパーも近いジョージタウン中心部には少し遠いが無料のバスが走ってるので気にならないスタッフはみんなインド系親切で英語も堪能１階にジュースなどの売店あり部屋は清潔だが清掃は甘いシャワーの湯量は物足らないが許せる

食事が毎日味つけが少し変わるがほぼ同じ、もっと変化してほしい。6泊中5回食べたが焼きそば、チキンの煮込み、ソウセージ、ポテト、温野菜、ドリンク類、シリアル、フルーツ、パン、デザート　変化が足りないので飽きた

新感覚のホテル。

ショッピングセンターのＧＡＭＡに近く、食品など、買い物に便利でした。また、バスステーションのコムターにも歩いて５分程度なので島の中をバスで移動するのにわかりやすく移動費が安く済みました。ホテル内装もリノベーションされていて綺麗でした。シャワーの湯量も十分な勢いでした。朝食もいろいろな種類があり、６日滞在しましたが、毎日違うもので新鮮でした。

とにかく安い。Cost Performanceは最高レベル。

トイレットペーパーが取りにくいところに設置されていたこと(=ASIA各国で良くあるパターン)、部屋の電気の場所が少々微妙なところに設置されていたため鏡が見にくかったことがマイナスポイント。一方でシャワーの温度、水圧はほぼ問題無し。一泊の値段はとにかく安くCost Performanceは最高レベル。

バス移動旅行者にBest　Location

Renewalしてホテル名が変わった。所謂デザインホテルみたいで、おしゃれで、設備は整っており、かつReasonable。バスで島内移動を予定ならば、コムターから歩いて５分のBest　Location。朝食はそこそこで、卵料理はby　Order。　日本人も全く見かけず、Hotelの変な擦れもなく快適。 Poolが最上階にあり、バタワースをはるかに望み、最高の雰囲気。唯一、客室内時計がなかったのがマイナス。

清潔なホテルでした

ホテルは、ペナン島ジョージタウンのランドマーク(?)、コムタの近くにあります。ペナン島での移動はバスかタクシーでの移動になりますが、バスに関してはコムタのそばにバスステーションがあり、島内への路線がたくさんあります。ホテル自体は新しいこともあって、清潔でした。アメニティで歯ブラシや、スリッパも置いてありました。朝食はバイキング形式で種類が豊富でした。またペナン島に行く時は、利用するかもしれません。

安くて新しいホテル。周りの環境はイマイチだが、中心部に近く、観光のポイントへのアクセスも良い。受付の銀髪の女性や黒人のお兄さんも魅力的で若くて親切。高層なので、遠くからも目立ちます。

お勧めの便利なホテル

2015年12月に2泊しました。今年出来たばかりの新しいホテルで、清潔でおしゃれでした。最上階のプールからはペナンの景色が楽しめます。ホテルはコムタやアルメニアンストリートまで歩ける距離です。ホテルの近くには朝食を出すローカルのレストランがあり便利でした。次回もぜひ利用したいと思います。

Good value for money

Stayed for four nights at the hotel, staff was helpful and nice, location ok (some nice restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood). Old town in walking distance. Breakfast included mainly south-east asian food, but over in all IT was ok.

It was great, there is free parking and its surrounded by good local food. A nice cozy room with breakfast (optional).

Friendly staff. The property is due an overhaul. Very inexpensive though with some beautiful newly updated vintage shophouses round about. I Must emphasise how friendly & pleasant the staff were.
