Sort of typical small town motel. Clean, inexpensive. Electrical outlets for charging phone and laptop are challenging.

Nothing like advertised
You definitely get what you pay for. The pictures on the site are nothing like what the lodge actually looks like. They are going through construction and have them staying here. They did not have any cots or fold a beds that we could use like it said they did. They did not have a free continental breakfast. They said that legally they only have to put out coffee or tea. Their manager is not even in this country. I tried to get a refund and they stated that their manager is out of the country and there was no one there to handle this type of situation.

Econo lodge Franklin/Middletown
When I first arrived the front desk clerk looked me up and down like "why are you staying here" I requested to be on the first floor because I use a walker to help recover from foot surgery and needed my prefer room. I was told that my prefer room was only on the second floor. Wish I was notified about that before arrival. Other than that everything else went smoothly

Dirty. Holes in the sheets. But holes in the furniture. Refrigerator didn’t work. Bathroom was nasty. No breakfast. Front desk said we put out coffe and fresh fruit by law it’s all we have to do. There was no fruit or coffee. Office was closed in the morning. Just a bad place. You get what you pay for which isn’t much

Hotel was terrible the mattress was stained the curtains had holes in them the walls had paint falling off of it and gouges in them dirt on door the lock barely worked the lamp shades and power outlets covered in dirt and dust…..very unhappy

I didn't like the fact that there where roaches,their wasn't anything that was promised to be in the room.All around the worst motel experience.And I have been staying in motels for awhile now.......Just Deplorable......The management also was very rude....

There's a cockroach in the bathroom as soon as we arrived. The Wi-Fi signal was hit and miss best and the building blocked cell phone service. They were guaranteed to have coffee and breakfast but neither were available. Apparently it is only the upstairs rooms that have coffee makers available per room and the downstairs rooms do not.

One of the rooms was not clean and had a fly problem. Linens were stained and did not look clean. Door lock was in disrepair. No breakfast or coffee in lobby as advertised. Was ok for one night but would not go back as the property needs repairs and deep clean.

Not so good
It wasn't in a good location partially hidden. It seems be a motel not a hotel. Could have been more cleaner. There so called breakfast wasn't! All they had was cereal and it wasn't even filled the morning we came down to eat so we ended up eating elsewhere.

There were no paper cups for coffee in the room and the front desk area was locked at 7:45 AM, so no coffee while I was getting ready to leave.

Not Worth the Money!
Only thing nice was the bed and sheets. No elevator. No available accessible rooms. No deadbolt. Felt completely unsafe. Mostly Independent Contractors, Construction Workers, etc. Front desk was rude and unhelpful. Cleaning people came in my room without knocking between 8:30am-9:00am when check-out wasn’t until 11:00 am. Room stunk really bad and wasn’t very clean. Cheap nasty bedspread. Crappy TV channels. Just Yuck!

Poor condion, rotten walls in bathroom, room was filthy, If I wasn't so tired i would have left, pulled up the matress expecting bed bugs, didn't see any but plenty of dirt and hair-gross, The only reason I didn't leave besides being exhausted is that everything worked, TV, Internet, fridge, microwave. A 1/2 hour with a bucket of Mr. Clean, a sponge, and some elbow grease would have went a long ways.. But it really need some repai and paint. The doors liioked like someone just rebuilt an engineand was in and out of there for a few days. Black grease on the knob side up and down the doors.The furniture was obviously from a Holiday Inn that upgraded in the 80's, but I can live with that. I'm not picky but a place that dirty is over the line.

Okay for the most part could definitely use more cleaning that's for sure walls were pretty nasty and besides needing a plunger and they told me to go find it outside somewhere if they don't come out of the building until the sun is fully up makes me think they are vampires LOL but that's literally what he told me

I booked a smoking room. When i got to check in i was told that they did not have any smoking rooms that were clean. I had to settle for non smoking room because i needed to hurry and get a shower before work.

Where can I even begin. Everything was completely dirty and during this Covid it was absolutely unacceptable. I almost left it was so bad. I had to basically clean the place myself and there was no way I could even take a shower. Where can I even begin. It's an Econo-Lodge. Just have those expectations and it is a great stay. The proprietor is a good guy who has done his best to rid the Rif Raf from the property, and has done a fine job. That type of commitment goes a long way. A spartan style breakfast awaits, but certainly enough to start your engine. The room was clean and fully stocked. A fridge and Microwave were a plus. great location of the interstate. Thumbs up from this solo traveler.

I booked my hotel months in advance. HOURS before my 11 year old and I arrived, you told us the hotel was overbooked. My two older daughters, both with chronic health conditions, were staying at that hotel with their school. You put my daughter and I in this econo lodge. We checked in after midnight and I felt sick to my stomach checking in. It was a smelly, disgusting motel with no running water in the bathroom. What a position to put a mother in.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We are not aware of the overbooking of the different hotel. Wish you could have notified us at the desk and allowed us a chance to fix issues. But nevertheless, we will make sure nobody else has to face the same issue like you had to go through. Once again sorry for the inconvenience.
