「I booked online for the same day. When I arrived the said there were no rooms. The owner checked my reservation and made up a room for me anyway. There was a lovely cold breakfast buffet and the hosts were friendly. 」

「Hillview is an excellent guest house along the road leading to Fort William. The room was fine and recently decorated. It is modern and very clean. The bathroom has every thing you need and it is clean and fresh. You can park your car right outside the house, The views over Loch Linnhe are magnificent. It is very easy to drive to Fort William (about 4 minutes) Breakfast is vey nice (not a fry up which was most welcome!) The owners are very friendly and helpful.」

「Tirindish House is a historical home converted into an absolutely charming accommodation. The hostess/owner, Lucy, is gracious and goes above and beyond for guests. Delightful accommodation with a great breakfast, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Just a lovely place to stay! 」

「Rooms were clean and fresh, however don’t be fooled by “en suite”. All rooms share a bathroom on each floor with a sink in the room. We presumed we had our own. Other than that, we had a nice overnight stay. 」

Ce fut notre halte préférée. Après une route fatigante de nuit, nous avons trouvé chaleur et bonne humeur chez nos hôtes. Le repas était extrêmement bon, et la chambre très confortable, pleine de bonnes attentions! La vue le matin est fantastique. Une pause cosy et chaleureuse 」

「Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.」

「Lovely little base for a West Highland getaway. Isolated and quiet with comfort and peace. Only thing you have to put up with is the midges, but not much can be done about those evil little things! 」

「Tolle Lage bei Fort William direkt an der Glenfinnan Eisenbahnstrecke. Man kann den Harry-Potter-Zug zweimal am Tag vorbeifahren sehen. Liebenswürdige Hauswirtin. Einfache Ferienwohnung.」

「Karl was very helpful upon arrival showing us how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable. The only tiny thing was finding the Chalet as google maps pin was set to the field over so just drive another 50 yards after Google tells you have arrived but even then the local neighbours were lovely helping us find it and it was a beautiful area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!」
