A Little Piece of Heaven
If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax, this is it! Jim and Sally, our hosts, were so welcoming and friendly, and the cabin was comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting by the fire each night; sleeping to the sound of the running creek; and waking each morning and sitting on the front porch with a cup of warm coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Peaceful!
We loved our stay at the tiny-house forest cabin. It was a great way to unwind from city life. The cabin had everything we needed. Sally and Jim were excellent hosts and fun to talk to. We enjoyed the beautiful setting and the animals that passed by such as deer, heron's, cardinals, and some other unidentified cuties maybe a beaver. Lots of wonderful forest sounds along with the creek lulled us to sleep. We visited wineries and cider businesses. Tubing at the creek was fun too!

Slice of Heaven
Quiet little cozy spot in the woods, balcony porch overlooking the creek. We absolutely loved it, can't wait to visit again. The property owners, Sally & Jim were very pleasant and accommodating. We really enjoyed our conversations with them.

Tiny cabin on the creek
We fully enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. The cabin is very small and rustic. Great location and not far from town yet you feel like your way out in the country which was exactly what we were looking for. The best part was the back deck overlooking the creek. If your looking for fancy, move on. Jim and Sally were wonderful hosts. If your looking for easy, peace and quiet, it’s a 5 star!

The Perfect Getaway
The owners were lovely & super friendly. The cabin was quaint & minimalistic but that just added to the rustic charm. Awesome hiking & winery within 2 miles of the cabin. We definitely will be back to this little cabin on the creek.

Nice little stay
We had a great time! The area is very nice and the house is very convenient to town and the vineyards and apple orchards. We also hiked Amicalola Falls (which is beautiful but not for the faint of heart, FYI so be prepared!) We ate at the Roof and really enjoyed it. Ott Vineyards was super nice as well.

Exactly as described, exactly what we were looking for!
I booked this place as a weekend getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday - he loves to fish/golf/hike - the cabin is within walking distance to at least one excellent hiking trail with some great fishing spots! Not to mention it’s right on a creek. The space was perfect and had everything we needed! Very easy to keep warm and comfortable. The owners were so kind and helpful. WiFi was solid enough for us to watch the football game Saturday night, and cuuuuute restaurants and shopping very nearby. We also went up to Toccoa Farms to golf - it was an easy 30-35 minute drive, and he said it was his new favorite course. Gorgeous. We will be visiting again!

Romantic and Private
I hate to use the word “seclude”. But it is very private without be “remote”. The view is absolutely stunning. The whole tiny cabin experience was perfect for two. Everything you need in a cozy area. Jim and Sally were delightful. Jim built these and the workmanship is unbelievable! Highly recommend!

Pleasant creek side escape
We absolutely loved our stay here. The views and sounds were wonderful and we enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts. The cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. My husband said that of all our trips this was his favorite and he especially enjoyed opening the screened window and letting the soothing sounds of the creek in.

If you and your friend and partner are looking that one relaxing place this is it.
Have never meet such wonderful people as we did with the owners who live on the property. From the second we pulled into the driveway they where there to greet us and so friendly. I set for a hour or so on porch of owners residence and talked and laughed. Two of the most loving and friendly people you will ever meet. This was wonderful and will be a definite twice a year get away going forward.

Fantastic Mountain Escape
Our stay here was simply magical. The photos really don't give an accurate sense of how close you are to the water. . . You're literally RIGHT ON the creek. We enjoyed swimming, sipping local wine, and cooking out in the evenings after our adventures. The location was central to all the things we wanted to see and do, including a quick drive to Amicalola Falls (a must-do). Sally and Jim are exceptional hosts who will do everything they can to take care of you during your stay. I was even able to drip charge my EV at night! My only points to mention to help others manage expectations are the shower is a little older and finicky, and the bed is a touch firm (which is not a problem for me, but my S.O. noticed.) You're here for the views and the wildlife though, so any hiccups you may experience due to tiny home living are easily moved on from. Stay with Sally and Jim, and you'll be happy. I can't wait to plan another visit.

Relaxing River Time
I loved my time at the quaint cabin by the creek. Sitting on the porch and listening to the babbling creek was the definition of relaxing. And the creek itself is clear and deep enough to have a fun time in - so bring your river shoes! The owners are very nice and have built all the structures on the property, so they take great pride (for good reason) in the forest retreat they have made!

Loved the little house on the creek! Convenient to shops and dining in downtown Elijay and lots of great hiking trails nearby! We could go out and about in the area all day and unwind by the fire and listen to the creek at night. Great place!

This property was exactly what we were hoping for, we had an awesome time, even saw a beaver swimming around in the creek! Sally and Jim are awesome, they were fun to talk with and informative about the area. We will definitely be going back!

Sally and Jim were great hosts. The cabin was nice and cosy. The wifi was sketchy and the cable tv didn’t really work, so we just played cards in the evening. Saw a doe and a buck another night as well.

Thank you for your review, Paul. We just replaced the tv with a smart tv. The Wi-Fi seems to be working fine now also. We are So sorry you did not have good wi fi. It is sometimes sketchy here.

October stay...
Our trip was so peaceful and relaxing. Sally and Jim were excellent hosts, and we loved chatting with them nightly. The town of Elijay was so quaint and nice, along with visiting Blue Ridge which was just 20-30 mins away. The wineries were out favorite part. I would highly recommend staying at Forest Cabins...yes it's a true cabin, and it's small but the view and hospitality were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Sally and Jim for a peaceful get away that I really needed! :)

Great tiny house cabin, w/ Awesome Owners!
Perfect location for a couple needing to get away from the everyday hustle & bustle ! Easy location to get to & from. and it’s only 10 mins away from shopping (Walmart,Ingles,dollar stores etc). The owners, Jim & Sally greeted us when we got to cabin, and they were such amazing hosts! Thank you for allowing us to spend our “50th” Birthday there! And Thank you for decorating our sign wishing us a “Happy 50th Birthday!” And an awesome way to welcome your guests!! They are Responsive, Sweet, down right funny,, We absolutely love how awesome they were to us! We were hoping to spend some time w/ them one evening to just have a beer or few w/ them before we left but maybe next time! Would deff go back to their cabin! And would recommend the cute tiny house cabin to any couple looking to just unwind! And I agree w/ other guests, that you just have to swing on their rope swing! The hubby & I kept taking turns like we were kids again!! Loved it!! Love Jim & Sally!! Thank you for being such awesome hosts!! ♥️

Forest Hill get away
We loved the cabin tucked away in the forest over the creek. Jim was so kind and assisted us with luggage due to our limitations. It is an extra special spot for quiet time and rest. Then when you feel like it there are mountains, shopping, orchards, vineyards and restaurants for enjoyment.

Our hosts, Jim and Sally, were exceptional. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and had great recommendations for restaurants, hiking, etc. in the area. The property was beautiful and the natural and peaceful setting was impressive. We spent a lot of our time on the porch enjoying our view of the creek and natural surroundings. We can't wait to go back.
