場所は空港からのバス停から近くエジンバラ城にも歩いて坂道もなくメインストレートをそのままいけばすぐ着き旧市街の真ん中当たりにあり良かったです。階段しかないので4階になった場合はスーツケースを持っている場合は大変かもしれません。ポットや備品は何もありません。

オールドタウン満喫のホテル
場所は理想的でした。駅からも近く、ロイヤルマイルという旧市街のメインストリートの中間地点にあります。だから、一日何も乗り物に乗らずに、旧市街を散策し、疲れたらホテルで一服、雨が降ってきたら戻って、なんてかんじです。一階がパブなので、夜が賑やかです。だから、私は音に敏感でなかったのでまったく問題なかったですが、夜静かなほうがいい、という人はちょっとつらいかもしれません。ホテルの方もフレンドリーでした。建物の外見が古いものなのですが、内装や水回りは現代的でおしゃれ、そのギャップがおもしろいと思いました。

パブがレセプションのオシャレな驚きのホテル
エジンバラ旧市街のど真ん中にある銀行だった建物の1階をパブ、2～4階をホテルにした面白いホテル。パブのカウンターのレジでチェックイン、チェックアウトする。土曜日の夕方のこともあり、満員のパブに入ると本当にホテルなのかとびっくりしてしまいます。朝のパブは開いていて朝食を食べることも可能だが、ほとんど客は入っておらず、チェックアウトの時は打って変わって静かなもの。 古い建物なのでエレベータはなく、階段をスーツケースを持って上がって部屋にいると、パブの喧騒が嘘のように静か。部屋の設備や内装は新しくてとてもオシャレで、二つ目の驚きです。苺にチョコレートをかけたウェルカムフルーツもオシャレでした。ベッドやバスタブが高いので背の低い人には少し大変かも。部屋によってはロイヤルマイルと呼ばれる旧市街も見渡せます。 バスルームもオシャレですが、お湯が出しかたや排水の仕方に慣れる必要があります。

難点はお湯周りだけ
窓からの眺めもよく、閉塞感もなくとても良い部屋でした。朝食もおいしかったです。駅からも近く、スタッフもしんせつでした。唯一の難点はお湯周りでシャワーの湯量が貧弱、バスタブに貯めるお湯がぬるい、途中でお湯が出なくなる、などでした。

力のある人向け？
ロイヤル・マイルの中心に位置してるので観光に便利。またエジンバラから出るバスツアーの集合場所に近いので、そのような人にも便利。1階のパブは雰囲気が良く、毎日地元の人や観光客で盛況。そこで食べるブレックファーストも美味しかった。 ただエレベーターが無いので場合によっては階段を荷物を持って上がる羽目になる。私の場合はホテルスタッフが「君の方が力がありそうだね、鍵(カード式)は持つから荷物は自分で運んでくれる？」と言われ4階まで荷物を運んだ。ホテルマンとしては？が付いたが、確かに小さくて細い人だった。 部屋は狭いが清潔でインテリアもまずまず。シャワーの湯量に物足りなさがあった。

The room is very clean and the atmosphere around the hotel is very nice. but I don't recommend you to stay if you have a heavy luggage because they don't have an elevator. Further breakfast disappointed me.

観光に便利
女性一人での滞在で、チェックインが1階のBARと聞いて少々不安でしたが、 どの時間帯のスタッフも感じがよく、落ち着いた雰囲気のの為、 結構すんなり手続きができました。ちなみにこのBARで1杯も全然OKな雰囲気です。 部屋は外観とは裏腹にモダンな作りで、清潔で、水回りもしっかりしており、観光にとても便利な立地で気に入っています。 このホテルの難点と言えば、とにかくドア。最初開け方がわからず、下のbarのスタッフに鍵を借りたり、カードキーを更新してもらったりしてもダメで、結局一緒に来てもらったところ、とても固いドアであること、開け方にちょっとしたコツがあることが判明しました。 あとは建物は3rd floor(4階)までありますが、エレベーターはありません。 また、階段部分が現在リノベーションの真っ最中でししたが、たぶん春以降はキレイになっていると思います。

バンク ホテル (Bank Hotel)エディンバラ
エディンバラ・ウェイヴァリー駅到着当初、平面図では位置関係（高低差）が把握出来ていなかったので、駅や近所の人に教えてもらった最短コースでホテルへ向かったが、急な階段が多くて面食らった。ホテルの部屋は４階で、リフト（エレベータ）がなく、荷物運びが大変だった。ホテル到着後、駅の近くの観光案内所などで情報を得て、駅周辺を歩いて諸施設を確認した結果、ホテルと駅の連絡は、やや遠回りになるものの、ゆるやかな坂道を利用すれば楽なことがわかった。コンビニや市内循環観光バスの発着場も近くにあり、個人旅行者には大変便利だった。

Fun boutique pub/hotel with nicely appointed rooms & breakfast made to order. Pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the rooms as there are just a handful of them over the pub - and they were relatively quiet. Pub was lots of fun in the evening w live music from 830-12pm. Can’t beat the location either !!

Real nice hotel, bar, and restaurant. Even though there isn’t an elevator the staff is very helpful in getting your luggage up the stairs. A very pleasant stay.

Lovely place. The bar below is beautifully decorated, as are the bedrooms. We did have a few issues while staying. We paid for the larger executive room but were put in the much smaller basic. This was resolved at checkout by removing a drink that we had had and giving us 30% off a future meal. Also, there was live music in the bar and we were in the room directly above. Even though we werent in the bar, we felt like we were. So if you stay, you might want to go another floor up. And lastly, even though we had paid for our room and breakfast prior to staying, we were charged a second time on our credit card. We only noticed this on returning home. This was resolved after a few phone calls and an email.

Beautiful boutique hotel on Royal Mile - perfect!!
This is a fabulous little boutique hotel/inn, the perfect choice for my second trip to Edinburgh. It is right in the middle of the Royal Mile, between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. Easily walkable to all central sights, and to numerous coffee shops, pubs, restaurants. Walkable to Festival Theatre and Edinburgh Playhouse also. The pub attached to the Inn is perfect - great ambience (live music at night) and very good food! Room was lovely and very clean. Great shower and large soaking tub. Only caution is steep stairs to get to rooms - not for anyone with mobility issues or lots of heavy luggage. But perfect choice otherwise - I will definitely stay again.

Dont Book
Booked a 2 night stay and wouldn't go back. On arriving , trying to check in, was advised that the mansger would be 5/10 minutes so had to stand and wait to get checked in. Room very nice. Had paid for breakfast for both mornings. Went down on 1st morning for breakfast at 10am only to be told that there was no chef so couldn't get breakfast at hotel but could walk down to the Scotsman Hotel and they would provide us with breakfast. Was then advised from the General Manager that sometimes they don't do breakfast at hotel and you would have to walk to Scotsman Hotel to get this. No where on website does it state this.

The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Although a busy area, we didn’t hear much noise. The pub downstairs had good food and live music.

The hotel is amazing. Building, location, room, facilities, bar everything with one exception. Booked a superior room specifically for the benefit of the large shower and standalone deep bath for us to use. The mixer tap ran cool so it didn't work. Thought it may be the hotel water system ane tried again the following morning same issue but the shower was hot. They need to replace the mixer tap and it would be 10/10 but it was a disappointment. Would I stay again?. In a heartbeat but I will follow up with the hotel directly to advise them.

Wow!!!! There just happened to be 2 nights available at this hotel when we were visiting Edinburgh. Our flight arrived early in the morning, but the staff allowed us to leave some small bags there so that we could explore the city for the day. We were exhausted by the evening and ordered food from the restaurant to take up to our room. The staff were so kind and brought it up for us. We can't say enough about the staff and how they made us feel comfortable and at home. The bed was super comfortable and we could adjust the air in the room. The room is updated and modern. We appreciated the coffee and tea we could make for ourselves as well. The location is amazing and we could easily walk to all of the sights and the train station. This was a great way to begin our trip to Scotland! Thanks again!

Reserved a 2 twin room but got a double. Also they didnt open breakfast at 8:00am. We had paid for this while booking hotel. After 8:07 we had to leave so dont add breakfast if you have to leave early. The room was very clean and staff was friendly

Bugs infestation ! I’m a Property Manager and i recognized that horrible Bugs when I entered into the Room. Bugs everywhere in the bed , in the bathroom, etc Never happened in my life ,!!!!! What a Shame!!!! Bugs Infestation in a 4 Stars Hotel and they knew that .

One night stay
The check in was ok although the desk was very small. Very short staffed. Tyler was amazing. There is no lift in the hotel so we had to carry our bags all way to our room 9 on the top floor. The window was broken so there was temporary fix however the wind howled throughout the night. We were given a bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely. The stairway was dirty and dirty laundry was left.
