デトロイト郊外の観光の拠点
Ford本社の敷地が正面にある2階建てのホテル（客室は平面的に広がっていて広いです）。建物はきれいで、設備面のトラブルもなく、スタッフも親切で快適なホテルでした。強いて言えば、隣室の物音が結構よく聞こえること。ヘンリーフォード自動車博物館や自動車の殿堂を見学するならこのホテルが近くて便利です（歩いてはいけないので自動車、タクシーになります）。隣はショッピングモールのようになっていて、Best Buyなどが入っているほか、レストランなどもありますが、自動車の町らしく歩道がないので、芝生と駐車場を歩いて横切っていくような感じになります。ホテル内にもBistroと簡単な売店があるので、夜間徒歩で外出したくない人にも便利です（ホテルが紹介している周辺のレストランは、いちばん近いものでも0.5マイル離れているので、このショッピングモール以外のレストランに歩いて行くのは無理だと思います）。

I checked into the room and the toilet was a mess and it could not flush, I tried calling front desk using the room land line but the phone didn’t work. I went to the front desk and I was very upset and the put me into a queen bed room which I didn’t want. I am very upset that I paid 164.00$ for this stay through Orbitz and I hope something is done about this situation.

Only Starbucks coffee offered in lobby. Most hotels have a coffee and juice dispenser available in the lobby. Too bad having to make a couple of extra bucks that way. As for front desk employees they were excellent in every way. As a business owner myself I would love to have them in my employ.

We were here before the Thanksgiving holiday, so I assume this attributes to the hotels empty feel, as I assume this place caters to business travelers. The pool was large enough for our children to play, and the rooms were well enough appointed. The onsite dining options are not great, especially in the evenings. But again, assuming you are a business traveler, this should be acceptable. The noted whirlpool does not exist, looks like the controls are still on the wall of the pool area but the feature itself was filled in / removed at some point. Would definitely stay again, especially at the price point hotels.com was able to get for me.

This hotel was clean and hospitable. The pool was the coldest I can recall. After swimming 50 lengths, I was still very cold and decided to stop because it was so uncomfortable.

Hotel room was very clean. The gym had two treadmills, hand weights, medicine balls, yoga mats, a bike and an elliptical. Front desk was courteous and responsive. Would stay there again.

Best Hotel Experience
I have to say this was my best hotel experience ever! I have stayed in a lot of hotels but this has been the best one. Every single employee was amazing. The whole place was immaculate. First hotel I ever stayed at where people actually hang out in the lobby. Very cozy friendly atmosphere. Anything I have planned in Detroit again I will come back to this hotel instead of downtown Detroit.

Overall the stay was good, room was exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside to my stay was the bed, it had a low spot in the mattress which was tough to sleep on and made my back hurt in the morning. All and all though it was a good experience at this location and made access for travel very easy.

Meh, could be worse but the staff is great.
Mold and dust in the shower and the lighr fixtures. Oh and make sure to put both layers of the shower curtain in the tub or you will flood the bathroom.

A hidden treasure
Customer service at this location is the best I’ve experienced in many years. Penny at the front desk and Angelic in the restaurant had the best attitude. It doesn’t stop there, customer service is infectious throughout the hotel

I chose this property because it was one of the only Marriott hotels within the area and there’s typically a certain standard that comes with staying at Marriott hotels, but unfortunately that was not the case. The property was beautiful and I wanted to love it, but I unfortunately found small bugs in the tub while showering. I have contacted the hotel directly, but still have not heard back from anyone after leaving a message. I would recommend checking your bathroom before settling into the room because unfortunately this was something I did not find until near the end of my stay.
