「ｹｰﾌﾟﾀｳﾝから陸路約２時間、国道１号線のﾄﾞﾗｲﾌﾞは途中の景色が素晴らしい！ ﾎﾃﾙからの景色もｱﾌﾘｶらしく、朝夕は特に素晴らしい。 ﾎﾃﾙ設備もｻﾌｧﾘであることを考えれば十分で、ﾌﾟｰﾙも清潔で且つ温度も低く灼熱の太陽に焼かれた体には心地よい。 食事はﾋﾞｭｯﾌｪ形式であるが、どれも手作り感のある温かみのある食事で、これもｻﾌｧﾘであることを考えれば十分だと思う。」

「This was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. It was scenic, top service, amazing meals and in a great location. The most important part was the staff. They are the most welcoming, kind and considerate staff. I had a bit of a stomach flu and the entire staff was going out of their way to help me. They made me ginger tea and the chef made me chicken soup. It was so nice. I highly recommend this property and Franshhoek as a place to visit. 」

「Wow this place is just amazing the only downside we only had one night we did look to extending while there. We had a three bedroom villa it was huge and our own pool which was a bit cold. 「Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.」

「Durch die vielen gemischten Bewertungen waren wir etwas skeptisch. Aber das war unbegründet, denn Karoo 1 ist fantastisch und hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Anlage ist in hervorragendem Zustand, Räume und Badezimmer sind großzügig gestaltet, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. 「Overall we had an excellent stay, however a couple of things. Other guests didn't respect the no noise after 10 PM rule and were quite loud which made it very hard to sleep as obviously in tents like these you hear everything. Also, we were struggling to enter the property when checking in. We were supposed to use the code for the gate received by email, but we weren't able to check our email and we were stuck for half an hour, trying to call the emergency number to no avail.
