John and Rachel came to introduce themselves the first night and we found them very down to earth And friendly. We would definitely recommend this to anybody coming to the area. 「You can spend the day canoeing on the lake or off-roading with you ATV or Jeep on the surrounding trails. Nights under the stars by the camp fire listening to nature sounds. I wanted a relaxing trip off the beaten path and this place delivered. The cabin had everything needed for my stay, right down to the boat shoes and bug spray. Host did a great job setting the place up for a truly authentic and memorable experience.」

「This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!」

With two of us working remotely either on video calls or doing data-intensive software engineering all day, we appreciated the TWO quiet desk locations and excellent wifi. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and loads of spices if you don't bring your own like we do. Coffee and snacks available at checkin were a nice touch, and perfect for our late checkin to buy us time to go to grocery store in the morning. Beds and furniture...

「We stayed at this location for a long weekend that included the total solar eclipse. The location is beautiful and the cabin is perfect. We were not able to utilize the dock or really get into the woods because of the snow but still enjoyed our time. 10/10 would recommend!」

「The cabin was perfectly situated for eclipse viewing and my family had a great time. My husband wished he had gotten to be there at a snowier time, but you can’t pick the day of an eclipse! Quiet and the view of stars at night were excellent, as well.」

My wife and I went up for a week long moose hunt, we enjoyed every minute of it, loons and ducks out front every morning and the moose were only minutes from the door step. 「The property has a large grassy back yard that provides gorgeous views of the lake. A wooden gliding bench allows for morning coffee by the water, listening to the loons. The shower had plenty of hot water for two of us. The only downfall was that many of the window screens were broken or bent and did allow mosquitos to come in.」
