ホテル自体が幹線道路に面している為、ベッドに入ると車の音が少々気になる人もいるかもしれません。これはすぐに改善はできないといますが、数十年後のメンテナンス時に考えても良いのではと思います。 全体的に綺麗に掃除してあります。湿度の高い国なので、シャワーブースの早めのメンテナンスで綺麗で清潔さを保てると思います。

かなりお薦めのホテルです。
場所はコロンボ４です。　コロンボフォート駅からトゥクトゥクで１５分～２０分位。　大体３００～４００ルピーです。　　　 フロント、ドアマン、レストラン、全ての方々感じが非常に良いです。 屋上にインド洋の見渡せるプールがあり、レストランも雰囲気が良いです。 朝食も毎日少し内容が違います。　味も良く、バッフェスタイルなので、好きなだけ食べれます。 部屋も非常に清潔。　テレビ、金庫、冷蔵庫もあります。Wifiも繋がりやすく早いです。浴室関係も全く問題なしです。　 途中２日間、シーギリヤ方面に旅行に行く時、３日後またここに戻って来て宿泊すると言うと、大きい方のスーツケース気持ちよく預かって頂けました。 裏手には３分ほどで、スーパーマーケットもあります。 コスパも非常に良いホテルです。　是非お薦めします。

メインロードに面したホテルなので、道路側は夜・朝問わず車の走行音やホーン音でうるさい。高い部屋ではないと、道から離れて居ないようだ。私はHopperという薄いクレープにカレーを食べたが、絶品です。洋食もあります。紅茶局やスーパー、カフェも徒歩圏内だが、暑いのでツクツクにのるのが無難。ツクツク（３輪車のこと)はメーター車以外は交渉が必要。強気で言い値より値切ること。必ず下りてくる、こなければ他のツクツクを当たるべし。

道をはさんで両側に二棟でしたが、今回は地下にレストランのある左側の棟でした。スリランカのシティホテルは不潔であったり、温水が出ないなど問題があるところもありますが、割合に安いシティホテルの中では、高級感、清潔感、ともに高いホテルです。 地下のレストランのカレーは、地元在住の日本人の方々にも定評があるようです。

中心地に近く移動に便利。海も近い。近くにフードコートが入っている施設もあるしカフェ、KFCが目の前にありました。小綺麗でしたが、浴室のドアの閉まりが悪かったので建物自体は古いと感じました。 レストランのスタッフが日によってサービスにバラつきがありました。食べたくないものを注文させられてびっくりしました。

アーリーチェックインもスムーズに対応していただきました。外出の際には、路上まで出てくれて、オートリクシャーもつかまえてくれました。空港までのタクシーにもきっちり行き先と料金を伝えていただき安心できました。部屋は少し年季が入っているような気がしましたが、十分休めました。海までは歩いて1分もかからないくらいで、電車も通る海岸の景色はよかったです。

Wifi環境が良くない。CPとタブレットと携帯それぞれにﾊﾟｽﾜｰﾄﾞを申請しないといけない。しかもいったん切ると翌日再申請が必要でした。 　部屋の机の上を時々小さな虫が這っていた。ゴキブリとは違う虫でした。CP作業中でした。合計三匹殺しました。

屋上のプールからの夕陽を見ながらビールを飲めるのが最高。やや古い建物ながら、内部や客室はリノベーションされており、快適に過ごせました。 朝食もカレーのバリエーションが豊富で味も十分。スタッフも親切な人が多かったです。 ホテル周辺にはあまり飲食店等ありませんが、トゥクトゥクで10分ほどで市の中心部に出られるので、特に困りませんでした。

予約メールにはベッドがダブルサイズサイズと書いてあったのに、行ってみたらシングルベッドが2つ並べてあって騙された感じがした。ネットのスピードが150kbしか出ずに、添付ファイルを扱うには厳しい。エアコンのコントローラーが壁に固定されていて、枕元から遠くて不便。このホテルに喫煙室は無い。 しっかり仕事をしたいビジネスマンにはオススしない。

滞在を検討されている方への備忘録
いくつかの点に目をつぶれば（または気にしない人には）快適なホテル。 でも海沿いで景色の良さを期待していたので私的には残念。海のすぐそばだが間に建物があるので、おそらくホテルのどこからも海は見えない。

プールから見える夕日が最高のホテル
2日間滞在しましたがとてもきれいなホテルだと感じました。値段はちょっと高めでしたが、屋上のプールとバー、フィットネスルーム付きだと考えると納得できるお値段です。 フォート駅からは少し歩きますが、バーガーキングやフードシティなどレストランやコンビニは行きやすく、活用してよかったです。

中級ホテルから高級ホテルといったところでしょうか。値段はするのですが、ロケーションもいいし、ローカルバスを使いこなせば、どこへでもいけます。部屋も素晴らしいし、プールもきれいでした。夜のプールはライトアップしているので、ぜひ行ってみてください！ 一人旅の方でも、心の癒しいなるホテルだと思います。

中心地からはやや離れるものの、個人的には目的とするショップや会社がやや南寄りに集まっていたので却って便利でした。スリッパや歯ブラシがないので、必要な方は持参されると良いでしょう。普通のビジネスホテルレベルと思って間違いない程度です。

活動的な友人にはお勧めできるホテル。
チェックアウトは12時ですが、所要で遅くなってしまったところ、1時まで無料で延長してくれました。また、チェックアウト当日の帰国のフライトが深夜だったのですが、夕方6時ごろまでスーツケースを無料で預かってくれました。

良かった点 : 清潔度、スタッフとサービス、施設のコンディションと設備、客室の快適度
手頃な価格で快適、仕事、観光で行動しやすい立地
デラックスルームに宿泊、部屋の広さはそこそこあり、簡素だが清潔感がある。スリランカではバスタブの設備は５つ星にしか無く、ここもシャワーのみであったが、いつでも熱いお湯が出るので快適であった。ホテルのスタッフは日本語は通じないものの皆親切で対応は悪くない。屋上に大きくはないがプールがあり、そこから眺める海は気持ち良かった。朝食別の料金で宿泊したので、朝食は通りの向かいにあるバーガーキングを何度か利用し節約出来た。因みに朝食は1,600LRP（約1,400円）とスリランカの朝食としてはちょっと高めの感じがする。

Nice Hotel
It was comfortable clean room. There was no view from my room, but close to Ocean. Very nice restaurant, but selection of breakfast buffet was not enough and it was too expensive. There is Burger King in front of hotel.

The rooms were clean and spacious with updated bathrooms. The fitness center was good and the rooftop pool was relaxing with a view of the Indian Oceans and the waterfront. The restaurant has great service and excellent food.

We had issues with the air conditioning. I made 3 calls and I sent was sent 3 different technicians. Each time the air conditioning was not fixed. Finally this young technician fixed it and we had cold air. On the negative there was only 1 over priced restaurant. It would be great if there was an informal Decently priced coffee shop. The pool was a great respite again it had overpriced drinks. Overall the renuka city hotel is a comfortable stay, the staff were pleasant and accommodating. I give It 4 stars out of five

Had some issues with the air conditioning. We had 3 technicians who came to fix it. Luckily the 3 technician (a young guy) fixed the problem. The restaurant was overpriced and expensive for what you got. This hotel could do with a coffee shop serving good quality meals at reasonable prices. All in all the staff where good and personable. A pleasant stay
