"While I know I came before official check in time, no rooms were ready. There was no one at check in so I had to look for someone. They said I could wait in their sitting room for a few hours until a room was ready. I asked where their restaurant was so I could get breakfast as it was about 1030 am and they said they weren't opening the restaurant that day... Taking it as a sign of things to come, I just left and booked a room at Galle Face Hotel instead. "

The room was clean and very spacious, lots of bathroom amenities and beautifully presented toiletries. We have had access to the bamboo garden, which is very nice to stay in the evening. "Really nice little gem in the city. All the staff were really nice and helpful. The food was excellent and pleasantly surprised by valentine 5 course dinner. All reasonably priced. Room was big and beautiful bathroom. Highly recommend. "
