"The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). "The apartment was great, we had a seperate living room and the bathroom was very clean. We had a very generous breakfast and sat in the lovely gardens to enjoy the croissants and pleasant weather. We will visit again later in the year! "

"Lovely Chambre d’hote in a beautiful building which is strangely in quite a suburban spot (it’s not in the country side). Had dinner which was nice and a very reasonable bottle of champagne. Be prepared to spend time with strangers at pre meal drinks or at dinner. Charles the owner was lovely and hugely accommodating but may consider giving guests more a bit more space to enjoy his lovely home. "

"I turned up a little late because Eurostar was delayed, but the hosts were very welcoming. I also had to leave early, before they woke but they were very kind and left some breakfast for me. I will stay again and enjoy the chateau more next time. Its a lovely place to stay and very safe if you have a car loaded full of things, as the court yard is walled with a gate."

The receptionist gave us a street map on arrival and pointed out good areas for eating and where to avoid.
