Infection control: As a Registered Nurse I take this seriously.
The home is cleaned by me prior to arrival using DuTerra On Gaurd germ fighting cleaner. All hand soaps are made with the Du Terra On Gaurd added to the soap for added sanitation.

Every booking includes free protection from Host cancellations, listing inaccuracies, and other issues like trouble checking in.

In the unlikely event a Host needs to cancel your booking within 30 days of check-in, we’ll find you a similar or better home, or we’ll refund you.

Not what we expected
We rented this property for the beach area pictured. It looked nothing like that picture. The beach was dirty with little sand and there was a pontoon docked in the middle the entire weekend. The property owner, from the beginning of the rental process, was also terrible with communication. The smell of sewage and the ridiculous amount of wasps made sitting out on the porch for more than 20 minutes impossible. The wasp also made their way into the house and you could hear the buzzing in the walls. I wish I could say that grounds around the house was nice but it wasn’t. The entire trip was just uncomfortable. The beds were ok though.

Lovely owners but disappointed with outside area
Communication was great, showers were amazing, beds were comfy. First impressions were let down by the amount of heavy machinery left around 2 sides of the property that impacted the view, and the muddy sand that was between the house and beach/deck. We were unable to easily access the new deck by the lake as new landscaping had made it extremely muddy. We did not sit outside much at all as the view was limited. The owners did mention the mud but not the heavy machinery. They were very accommodating with us arriving 3 days earlier than originally planned and with bringing in supplies of stuff that was missing from the house.

Very enjoyable!
We enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was very clean and the host was a pleasure to work with. We spent a lot of time in the rockers on the deck enjoyIng the view of the lake. Amazing! Nice TV but it did buffer a lot, otherwise it was great stay and we would definitely recommend!!!

Wonderful, peaceful, fun getaway!
My family of seven had an amazing time at this property! Gayla and Jay are very communicative and accommodating, the property was perfect for all of us, we had a wonderful time! The lake is very serene and a perfect setting! Lake Carlyle is only a short drive away for Beach swimming. We will definitely look to stay here again!
