Family-friendly, the kids had a blast. Lot of entertainment day and night. Varied food and drinks. The beach was the only we didn't use, kind of dangerous for the kids. Other than that perfect place. We'll be back for sure.

The staff here were so welcoming which is always a great experience booster. The food options were great, the pool and the music and swim up bar was also really a good experience. Id recommend this resort for couples and families.

I did not like the fact that the bar closes too early. Most people go to cancun to have fun, so keep the bar open. They also close the restaurants early so They can charge extra for room services. Everything is money driven.

Came here with the girls <3 and had so much fun here. All inclusive so i had a nice time at the pool bar and would have drinks at the beach. Enjoyed the snacks here that had my fav jicama y cucumbers wouldve been nice if they had tajin as a spice option. I enjoyed breakfast the most :) had a diverse selection of the sweet bread. Ate conchas cookies and orejas. I also really liked eating the chilaciles they made with salsa verde. They had a omelette bar and pancake waffle french toast bar. My cousin mentioned the orange juice taste like sunny d. it did have a sweet taste i just got cafe con leche. We also reserved dinner at one of their restaurants, some restaurant had openings and some didnt but we picked what worked for us. The restaurant by the pool and the food was interesting. Shoutout to our waiter Jonathan who helped recommend food for us and not order the same food together. He was really funny and sweet. The churros were so good ate some with the ice cream they had. Would see daily activities by the pool area which was cute. Saw a live violin performance! By the other pool area which had the jacuzzi’s. The staff was nice :3 shoutout to all the maintenance crew who make the resort so beautiful and service workers make us feel comfortable. Overall a good first time budget friendly resort ! It was my first time in cancun and a good home during my stay. Public transportation is close by

Property was decent, pools were decent, staff was great. Room was small and extremely noisy hearing every car that passed and music from rooms 2-3 down that weren’t even blasting it. AC was not working the entire first day. They called staff and they responded promptly but spent 60 minutes in my room at 9:00 P.M. trying to fix it while my family was going to bed, continued to have issues throughout the stay. Food was similar at every restaurant despite being “different”. Again, staff was awesome, but overall experience was just okay, and doesn’t compare to other all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at.

This was our second time staying at Royal Solaris. We enjoyed everything about it the staff is amazing here, my kids loved the mini club and ladies there were very friendly overall if you are looking for a nice vacation in Cancun where kids and adults can enjoy them selves pick Royal Solaris you wont regret it. We will definitely come back here again.

We have stayed last year as well to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and we loved it. As such we went that year as well to celebrate our Anniversary. But compare to last year hotel standard has dropped quite significantly which we noticed as we can clearly find the differences. Room: We stayed for 6 nights. Linen provided were old and had some marks on it. When unaddressed housekeeping staff they didn’t changed it as I belive they didn’t understand as they don’t speak English. Mini fridge should have been replenished everyday. Mini fridge consists of few soft drinks and 2 beers. We may have had 2 beers out of 6 days but that doesn’t mean they will not add beers in the mini fridge if we are not drinking them and even water bottles. I called reception and she mentioned that someone will come and replenished but it never happened. Stand if service has gone down quite low. Food: I belive the quality of chef and quality of food has deteriote significantly. During breakfast time chef use to use fresh mushrooms and not canned mushrooms compare to last year. Choices of food has gone down. Requested for bacon but server mentioned they ran out of it. We went to live counter for omelette. I am sure the chef is trainee and we requested to have peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach on the omelette. I couldn’t belive in my eyes the chef just put everything on the pan and not even 30 secs he put all the required veggies on the omelette.Veggies were raw and uncooked. Overall not satisfying.

Everything was great in the hotel, except that the door card was often blocked and we had to go to the reception for renewal, but the taxi drivers at the airport are very rude and extremely expensive. I don't like the fact that there is no organized transportation to the hotel and back, but you need extra you pay. From the airport to the Royal Solarius Hotel In just 10 minutes 85 USD. That's very bad

Les repas sont vraiment bons grâce à des stands qui réalisent les plats à la demande. Chambres très bien insonorisés Équipements enfants parfaits Par contre musique très forte autour de la piscine, heureusement c’est tranquille sur la plage. Pas de souci pour avoir un transat, mais ils sont collés les uns aux autres sans aucun espace Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Prix élevé pour une personne nous ayant rejoint en cours de séjour et partageant une de nos chambres, presque aussi cher que notre séjour comprenant le billet d’avion de France.

First, the not so great. Food was very subpar. Buffet was small with limited options along with a menu that seemed to repeat continuously. This was true for all dining times. Also, it was very difficult to make reservations for the reservations only restaurants using the app as dates and times were always full. This was true even when viewing 2-3 days out. Food was average at best at these venues. Room service was prompt but again food quality and selection were just bad. On the bright side, service at the Pool Bar and the Lobby Bar was really good. Friendly and fast with ice cold beer on tap. Every employee we met was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Our housekeeper, servers, and bartenders were really on it. Never struggled to find chairs at the pool or beach and we had lots of fun in the sun. Our kids (11 year old twins) made friends with others and enjoyed their time playing in the pool. Nightly entertainment was really good and made better with drinks from the Lobby Bar. Made it to Isla Mujeres again which did not disappoint. Playa Norte was beautiful as always. When we ventured off property, we traveled using Uber. Fastest pick up service of anywhere I’ve ever visited along with the most affordable fares. Highly recommended. Traveler tip: watch your bill/receipts for every purchase. We had had a cashier at Oxxo (near hotel), a salesman for Ultramar ferry tickets (on-site), and a server at Wolfgang Puck’s (airport) try to overcharge us.

I can honestly say i had my hopes a little too high with the place. The food was very low in quality i almost felt like a dog :( i didnt eat much during my stay here because almost everything had little no flavor or just didnt look appetizing. I ate fruit when it looked clean. Everything tasted like the air (if you stayed here you know what i mean) its like we were eating week old food. The staff was lovely but some of them were treating customers who were not hispanic poorly compared to the Spanish speaking ones

The property is nice the rooms are clean but the food does not have a great variety for my opinion and make sure you make dinner reservations ahead of time. You can only make one dinner reservation at a time but if don’t do this you will not be able to eat a the nicer restaurants.

I liked the location near the airport but I did not like the food at the buffet, very poor quality, and the restaurant’s options very limited. They only allowed 1 reservation at the time, sometimes they had no availability.

Reservations for dinner were extremely challenging to get. We were told to wake up at midnight each night to book something for the next night. You could hear everyone in the halls and in rooms on each side of you through the walls and doors. There was no balcony to outside. The entertainment was at an indoor theater that lacked ambiance and had limited seating. Finding seats around the pool was challenging unless you got up at 6-7am to set towels out. Meals were not impressive at the buffet.. it was challenging to even be served a coffee in the morning. On the upsides, the views of the ocean were pretty. Bogavante was a nice beach side restaurant that served good food (we were only able to eat dinner there once), and Nancy who waited drinks by the pool area was a gem and a joy to see each day.
