This “resort” is run down. The staff does the best with what they are given. They try. There were days with no power, no water and some restaurants weren’t open. Small gnats come up out of the sink every night/morning. House keeping didn’t come every day. Booking excursions were a good escape (sadly) I did hear that the resort will be closing soon. It should and make room for the new, bigger and better place. The place is falling apart.

There were so many things that were issues. The air conditioning wasn’t working until day 5, there were multiple power outages. The phones in the rooms were props (they didn’t work at all) so while they offered room service, there was no was to phone for them. Food was not good. The water smelled like rotten eggs. There was no entertainment. Zero night life. The resort was very dated and run down. The bed was horrible. Like sleeping on plywood. It advertises as an adult only resort but it’s more of a 55 and over vibe. The positives were the staff. Friendly, kind, hard working and fun. Always apologizing for the issues and trying their best to help.

Truly enjoyed my visit between entertainment, the gift shop, bars, restaurants, the pool area & beach it was nice. Only downfall if you’re trying to take the vacation to rest, it’s an okay option. It was hard to sleep due to loudness & slamming of things. Overall it was really nice!

The AC in the room was terrible. The fan they let us use would work for about 20 minutes and then shut off. We had to unplug it for awhile before it would work again. The power went out our last norning there. After we walked all of our suitcases down from the 4th floor, we were told if we didnt go back up to get our wristbands that we had cut off in the room, they were going to charge us $100. So my husband had to walk back up to the 4th floor and dig them out of the trash. Maybe they should have informed us at check in that we had to turn them in when we left. The food was ok, nothing to get excited about. We would not stay here again.

Its older my room smelled stronly earthy qhich may have been mold. We didnt get any towls when we arrived. One night at about 10 i went down and asked for water bottles as they only give you one per person per day they said it would cost me 20 Pesos!!! The food was pretty decent but after a few days i got pretty tired of thier limited selection. Postives were thier staff was friendly and the beach view is spectacular.

Beware of all the fees and taxes not included in the price.. I did not like that they did not give us towels until the last day of our stay. Asked at the front desk if they could give us two towels, one for each person, they only gave us one then finally two on the last day. They up charged the early check in fee and then said they were giving a “discount”. Country tax is paid at check out which was not stated in Expedia.

Lobby is spacious but need to get rid off of old furniture. Same was observed in hallways of other levels. We also made a note they needed to secure balcony door for lack of bolts.

I’ve been here multiple times but this was one of the worst trips. The food was pretty terrible most nites. Cold, bland, flavorless. Due to staffing issues there was only the buffet and one other restaurant open all week. Normally at least 3 of them are open. There is a major problem with beach umbrellas. Good luck getting one and even when you do you can’t leave or someone else will take it. Also. Slipped and fell in the stairwell because someone had mopped the floors but did not put up a wet floor sign. Dislocated my shoulder due to this. Spent 2 days without bath or beach towels because they just ran out. I love the GP and all the staff but management just doesn’t care anymore and it shows.

When we first arrived Martin was great. He grabbed our bags and a beverage. He is the best worker there. we then went to the front desk and there were like five front desk people standing at the desk, and nobody said anything. The guy that finally did start talking seemed like he was high on pills. our room did not smell good, and had no towels in it. i liked the alcohol in the room. the tub was gross, the jets needed to be cleaned. the buffet was horrible for lunch and breakfast, the snack bar had good tacos, but we did not get to eat at any of the other nice resturaunts because they would say open on the schedule and then they would not be open. rarely did i get anything from the front desk that i asked for, bartenders were good, but it seemed that all the supplies kept running out.

Resort advertises 5 restaurants, they only had 4 - the 5th one (the formal one) is closed, we were told bc air conditioning is broken. The 4 restaurants they have were only open 2 at a time with limited menus. Food was ok, but not great. A lot of the rooms did not have air conditioning. No refrigerators in most of the rooms. The only entertainment is water aerobics & pool volleyball once a day. No band, no foam machine (we were told it’s broken) etc..The pool is not filled all the way, The infinity pool was not running bc the water was not even filled up to the filters. The ceiling was leaking and falling through in spots. I don’t know what VIP is on Expedia, but we certainly did not experience that. I will not be recommending this place to anyone & will not be back.

The property needs renovations.. the ceiling on the.2nd floor where I stayed had a leaking ceiling with a towel and bucket collecting the water the entire time I was there and was still there when I left. There wasn't any daytime or evening activities or shows, the resort was basically shut down by 11pm, the "club" Sixties had about 4 people in it one night and no one on another night. The Steak night had the best dinner meal, but isn't available every night.

At the start of our visit, the resort was good! When we arrived, the staff was very nice. The bartenders and housekeeping staff were amazing. We booked an excursion there and the rep was very helpful and kind. The elevators, one was down a lot. Our room was cleaned every day but we did have to ask for wash clothes. not all restaurants were opened, so it was as hard to find a place to eat. The experience we had when there was a medical emergency is what left a bad taste in my mouth and the staff was less than sympathetic. My husband ended being taken to a hospital for a life threatening infection. My husband did break the toilet tank cover due to falling in the bathroom which I understand we are responsible for and was willing to pay and take accountability for it. But they charged us $100 for that and $35 to sweep up the floor in the bathroom that had little remnants on the floor. In addition, we need the sheets changed due to my husband being sick and they charged us $35. It’s not the charges that got to me, it was that in order for my husband to be taken to the hospital, I had to pay the $160 before we could leave. There was no empathy, no compassion, not sympathy for our situation. Rather they stood at the doorway with a credit card machine! They could have said, don’t worry about it, or we can take of this later, or we have your card on file, we will just bill it there! But no, make sure my dying husband can’t leave until we pay it. My husband is recovering thankfully!!

This was our 5th visit to the resort, some of the building is showing wear and tear along with the patio furniture. Need more umbrella's at the pool. Staffing to cover the various restaurant availability. Love the staff, food and resort as a whole.

This is a cute property! It's small but had everything we were looking for in a vacation. The place needs a bit of a renovation in a few areas but besides that it's a hidden gem!

The meal venues have amazing food! The employees are wonderful, personable and eager to please! The beach, with its views, is the best! Rooms are very comfortable and clean however there was a daily shortage of towels.

This is a nice place with a beautiful beach. The food was good and the people went out of their way to make us comfortable. This is not a brand new hotel so don't expect that and you will be happy here. My GF and I had a really nice stay and would not hesitate to go back. It offers a quiet, relaxed place to vacation that doesn't break the bank.

El personal muy amable y atento. Las instalaciones se ven viejas, el elevador antiguo. Le hace falta una remodelación y poner colores mas alegres y diseño de interiores mas modernos, así como pisos nuevos. La alberca y comida bien.

Great staff! Right on the beach without the high price. Friendly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Views of the beaches were spectacular and the staff on the beach kept the drinks coming. Beach well groomed, no garbage or seaweed. Resort is older and needs to be updated. But for the price it’s a good bang for your buck. I would go back for the amazing staff and views.

The property is clean and quiet two restaurants where nice and eloquent. The property is out dated it’s not alot of activities. It’s best for older adults.
