The hotel was charming, the garden rooms were lovely and the garden beautiful.
My room was overlooking the garden and very spacious. It needed airing and had a slight feel of neglect, probably due a refresh but still comfortable.Tea/coffee making facilities were in the room and the orange and apples were a nice touch.
I paid £14.95 for breakfast but it was disappointing. Fried eggs were kept warm and the yolks hard, no hash browns, so very lacking in hot choices and a very inadequate drinks machine serving only one drink at a time - I expected much better, having had good breakfasts in less expensive hotels, so you let yourself down Marygreen Manor.
The tables are so close together that you may as well be sitting on a long bench.
I’d recommend the hotel but I’d pop out for breakfast elsewhere in the mornings.
