A very nice little hotel that was extremely convenient for a gig we were attending, and also close to a street with a lot of restaurants to choose from for dinner.
The beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the staff friendly. We only spent one night here and didn’t use the restaurant or bar, so can’t comment on that. We ate breakfast elsewhere as the price seemed a little expensive.
Parking was easy here, but again seemed a little expensive but the cost of the room was extremely reasonable, so it was balanced out. The hotel was quiet, bearing in mind we were in the ground floor, and there were no events on the night we stayed.
The room we stayed in had two minor things that stopped it from being perfect. The position of the toilet in the bathroom was so close to the heated radiator and towels that it was very difficult to sit down! For anyone with long legs, I’m not sure how they would manage! We also had a kettle that did not switch itself off at boiling point. On reflection, we probably should have made reception aware of that so the kettle could be replaced.
Overall a lovely hotel.
